I am a chef & wanted to learn more about Balinese & Indonesian cuisine. Dewi & her team were recommended to me & I wasnt disappointed. 1st a casual stroll around the market, sampling some local fare. Never thought I would try crispy eel or a turmeric drink! Dewi was able to answer all my questions about all the exotic... More

Dewi is a great teacher, very warm and friendly. We were made to feel like guests in her home while preparing the food. The driver picked us up on time at the hotel and brought us to the market where Dewi met us. We walked through the covered market while Dewi pointed out the different merchant and purchased some fruit.... More

Dewi, her friend, and their daughters made the evening dinner class so much fun. The meal itself was the best we ate all week, better than all the expensive restaurants we tried. When we come back to Bali, we will be returning to this awesome class with the yummy food.

We had such a lovely afternoon at this cooking class. It was a rainy day and we booked last minute but we're still accommodated and turned out to be the only 2 in the class! Such fun and lovely friendly people, plus we learnt some recipes and skills. Food was amazing. Definitely a highlight of our Bali trip, we will... More

We can certainly recommend this class! It is so much fun and the hosts Dewi and Kadek are great people! Dewi can tell you a lot about Bali and is probably one of the sweetest people we've met on the island. Very good and fresh food that you can enjoy after cooking it yourself! Team K

My wife and I just did the cooking class with Dewi and Kadek. We were picked up from our hotel in Kuta by lovely Annie. She drove us to Sanur where we picked up another couple and then headed to a traditional market where Dewi met us and showed us around the market while explaining the different foods, fruit, meats... An amazing way to experience AUTHENTIC Balinese recipes! Dewi was a great, encouraging, patient teacher. We all took turns at chopping, mixing, rolling and cooking. So much food to eat ..... including entree, mains and desserts. We couldn't eat it all! Thoroughly recommended.

The day started with a visit to the market where we were able to try different fruit and baked goods. After the market we went to the kitchen for the class. We were the only two in the class so it was like a private cooking lesson. We started by grinding all the spices then did the cooking. It was... More

On Nov 15, 2016, we visited Caraway Cooking Class, where we spent some very memorable hours. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the place where the course was to take place; cosy surroundings next to the teacher's private place of living. We were four people attending, so it was very intensive, and we were all involved... More
