I have over a hundred dives and I have dove with many shops. Bali Scuba is a model of how to do things right. Fun people, deep experience, close attention to detail, good prices, fast boats, and an emphasis on "safety first."

WOW. Literally wow. I have never been so impressed with an incredible team. Everyone here was so nice to me. Every day, they checked up on me to see how I was feeling. I decided to take the OW and AOW course as a package and by the end of the week there, everyone knew my name and greeted me kindly. They made sure that I was fine and even throughout the course they were making sure I was physically well and encouraging me to keep going. Even though I was a solo traveler by the time I began the course, I never felt like I was alone because I felt so well accompanied. I can't recommend this place enough. There are so many options to choose from when it comes to scuba diving and this one made me feel like more than just getting my license but it felt more like a family. I was so happy that I had chosen Bali Scuba and I hope you do too.

Where to start with how totally amazing this dive shop and their instructors/ guides are?!? My husband and I had not been diving in 10 years so we took the pool refresher with Yannick while our teenage daughter started her scuba certification pool work with Sila. They have online e-classes for the book portion of the certification which was really great since we were traveling and our daughter could do that part easily while we were on the go. My husband and I have had the opportunity to dive with lots of dive shops, all over the world, and hands down this group is the BEST! Their shop is clean and professional, their staff is kind, helpful and also extremely professional. Yannick was absolutely wonderful to work with in the pool and on our dives making sure we saw as much as he could possibly point out. They have a really nice van that came and picked us up and dropped us back off at the hotel, cold water constantly available and even towels for the dives.
My daughter was excited, but nervous to do the certification and ended up having some tough parts in the pool work making what should have been one day in the pool, 2 long days. Sila was beyond kind and patient with my daughter. He was gentle yet encouraging and continued slowly moving forward when she would have otherwise given up. He even recommended a "discovery dive" where he was her personal guide in a shallow open water to remind her why she was doing all this hard work to get certified, a really cool idea and it got her back into the fun of the adventure of diving. On the boat for the dives, they did everything for you including putting on your fins and helping you in every possible way, it was soooo nice!
The open water certification dives proved to be challenging for my daughter as well. There are simply tasks during certification that are required that are difficult, we all had to do them, but Sila was just amazing with her! Just as things were coming together, my daughter got an ear infection and couldn't dive until she finished medication and cleared the ear up. They were amazing about that too allowing us to postpone with great understanding. When we returned, we knew the ear may still be an issue. They offered options which included an attempt and if it didn't work, we could take the lesser "scuba certification" rather than the "open water certification" for now and upgrade her down the road when she was ready. It felt like the never ending challenge! My husband and I could not believe how wonderful the dive shop was and figure Sila must be a Saint. The ear was painful and would not cooperate so Sila snorkled with our daughter instead so that she would have a positive experience! I mean wow, what a guy! I am so grateful for the entire team at Bali Scuba for a wonderful experience. There is absolutely no other choice when it comes to a dive shop in Bali, go here!

This scuba company was amazing, I booked the dives (Tulamben/ Padang Bai) before coming to Bali and the communication was fantastic and they answered all the questions I had via WhatsApp. When we were due to be collected the transport was prompt and had water ready for us. The first day was to Tulamben and our guide gave us a good brief and helped my 15 year old daughter get her kit on in the water as was a little slippery and she felt very at ease we had 2 fantastic dives around the wreck and the much between dives was great. The second day was at Padang Bai from the boat, my daughter had never had any success with the backward roll but the instructor on this day talked her through it step by step and she finally overcame her worries and did it!!! We had 2 amazing dives here and the guide took us to a less busy area of the dive site and we loved it.
I would, without hesitation, recommend and use this dive centre again maybe also do further courses here hmmmm dive master maybe ;)

Our guides Sana and Coyak are truly top-notch professionals. I enjoyed our time with them very much, both in and out of the water. I will be singing their praises to anyone I know who is travelling to Bali with plans to go scuba-diving!
Bali Scuba put together a package which included transportation from Sanur to Tulamben, accommodation at Puri Madha Dive Resort, 3 days of diving with Nitrox, and then transportation to our hotel in Ubud, all at a very reasonable price!

I found these guys through Google prior to my recent trip to Bali and booked a day trip to the USAT Liberty wreck in Tulamben. They picked me up from my hotel right on time, made a quick stop at their dive shop to check equipment sizes and complete paperwork, before continuing to the dive site.
Their equipment is all well maintained and the staff are brilliant, Suban (my guide) was always on the lookout for interesting species of fish.
I can't wait to try their other dive sites on my next trip.

“This was the first time my brother and I went scuba diving. We first watched videos which improved our knowledge about diving. We then learnt all the skills you need in the pool, this helped us when we went into the sea. The diving sites are incredible! It is worth going back to school on the holiday just to try this. It was fabulous!”
That was my children’s opinion (10 and 12 yrs). They did a wreck dive and thoroughly enjoyed it. Their instructor, Farish, was patient and supportive with them and they thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. My wife and I then joined them for a couple of dives as well and it was great to have the whole family scuba diving together. Would definitely recommend their whole set up!

My wife and I did a upgrade from Scuba diver to OWD and we had the pleasure of Heru as our instructor. He was very informative and had a world of patience, made sure nothing were rushed and the time needed for everything.
We had a great pool day at the center with local lunch, then 2 open water dives at USAT Liberty in Tulamben. The water was warm, and great visibilty and lots of marinelife.
Besides being our instructor, Heru also was our underwater photographer and took some great shots and video.

I have been scuba diving for the past 40 years and Bali Scuba is by far the best dive company i have ever had the honour of diving with.
We went to Tulamben for 7 dives in 3 days.
Our dive masters Sana and Coyak were professional, pleasant and knowledgeable fellow divers . They provided us with a safe relaxing environment to fully enjoy the diving around Tulamben.
Our driver Awen was a very safe and accommodating driver that would always get us to where we needed to be.
Great companions to share a special Bali dive experience with.
We went to Tulamben for 7 dives in 3 days.

I spent 5 day diving with Bali Scuba and everything went amazing.
They are very accommodating and the booking process via email was very smooth.
I’m an experienced diver traveling with 2 friends, one of them took his Advanced Open Course, it was very well organised and we managed to dive together.
The instructors and dive masters are very friendly, experienced and skilful.
All the staff is very nice.
We went to the most famous dive sites in Bali: Tulamben, Nusa Penida, Pandangbai…
Every dive was wonderful.
The logistic is very good too: hotel pick up, equipment, transportation (bus or speedboat), everything was great.
We all had a fantastic time. Thank you Bali Scuba.

Hello. My husband and I are coming in August. We’ll be staying in Sanur. I’m a certified advanced diver and he’s a scuba instructor and technical dive master. We’re from Egypt and we dive in the red sea. My question is if we want to dive for two days, 4-6 dives in total, how much would it cost? And when and how should we reserve? I have never done any diving not snorkelling before I'm traveling alone and want to experience this, also unsure of where to stay so I'd snorkelling, scuba diving for beginners suitable here or can you recommend anywhere else?
