It was so worth the taxi ride from Nusa Dua where we are staying. Very clean, very professional and the actual massage was fantastic! Lovely room, disposable knickers that actually fitted me! (I’m a size 16 and it’s impossible to fit into them normally, these were easy!). The girls were lovely and did a great hot stone massage on both myself and husband. We were given lovely ginger tea before and after and they began the massage with a great salt scrub on our feet. Secure cupboard to lock our personal stuff in during the massage. This is a return visit to Chantara Day Spa and once again, it did not disappoint!
I had a blissful three-hour Chanti Chanti signature ritual, and left feeling delightfully relaxed and pampered.
Highlights were the facial, especially the serum which was massaged into my face and felt like it removed all my worry lines! I also enjoyed the massage and the flower bath. The ginger tea was delicious!
(One area which could be improved is the descriptions of the treatment itself, as the order in which things occurred during the ritual did not match the description in the spa menu. For an experience to be truly relaxing and indulgent, it would be great if people knew what was happening and when it was going to occur...)
I would recommend this ritual to anyone who enjoys being pampered for hours on end. I will be back next time I come to Bali...

Excellent professional and skilled therapists and wonderful massages, and especially outstanding pregnancy massage!! We tried lots of different spas in Sanur (and Ubud) and I just had the most wonderful experience at Chantara Spa, the therapist (Ayu!) knew how to accommodate and keep my belly safe whilst giving an excellent massage, and the rooms are big and the massage tables bigger than other places so when you’re on your side (for pregnancy massages you have to be on your side) there’s actually room. So much more comfortable, so relaxing, and the best massage I’ve had in Sanur and Ubud.
My husband had excellent massages here too but my special mention is for the pregnancy massage because it really has been hard to find someone experienced and who could do that properly.
Highly recommend.

As soon as I entered the doors I knew I was in the right place. The staff are amazing. I was early and made to feel welcome with a delicious cup of tea. They were the first spa that I had visited, and they were the best. I started with a 90 minute deep tissue massage with an experienced therapist, and they cannot recommend it enough. As a former therapist myself I am very fussy about recommending any massage, however I definitely recommend these people. Afterwards I followed it up with the deeply healing and nourishing rose facial. If your skins are little bit older and dry like mine your skin will absolutely love this delicious treat of feeding your layers with nutritious life affirming lotions potions and vitamins.

My husband and I are finally able to travel overseas and have chosen to come to Bali after COVID-19 to unwind and relax. We made plans to get some sightseeing done and find a great place to have some massage and boy it was difficult to find one that is open as a result of COVID-19 but we’re told to head up to Chantara in Sanur and it was the best recommendation!
From the beginning we walked through the door we were greeted with welcoming and warm smile and offered some refreshments. We were quickly decided to have a 90 minutes deep tissues massage to try and we both felt relaxed afterwards and thought 90 minutes wasn’t enough! So we decided to book daily massage until our last day of our holiday. We had the same massage therapists (mba Ria & mba Vanny) who are skilled, knowledgeable, polite, and professional. They explained to us the step by step process and even asked of what type of massage oils we would like to have…my favourite is Ylang-ylang and Rose! We finished the massage by drinking ginger tea and it was such a treat. We were astounded on how affordable the treatment was!!!
We would highly recommend Chantara and will certainly come to see them again the minute we return to Bali. Thank you ladies!!!

Made a booking for 2pm and arrived at 1.40pm. The massage started around 2.05pm and upon completion an hour later we indicated we would like to have a shower. The shower room was outside of the massage room. Barely 2 minutes of getting into the shower room with towels wrapped around us, we got a knock on the door with the masseuse indicating that they had to remove our clothes and belongings (including a bag and pouch containing our valuables/passports) immediately as they had other guests waiting to get into the massage room. They dumped all our clothes into our hands with us still wrapped in towels in the shower room. The bag/pouch and my spectacles ( which got smudged due to their mishandling) were placed in another adjoining empty massage room.
Basically there is no buffer included between massages for bookings made. You either do not request for a shower or be prepared for a humiliating experience. The masseuses were nice and did a decent massage.

I took the deep tissue massage for 90 minutes which cost around 25$. The person took all their time and were super kind… they really trested me amazing. Pressure was always asked if okay and if you want strong pressure, you‘ll get it. Definitely a place to re-visity

We have visited Chantara (since they opened 3 years ago) each time we come to Sanur and we have never been disappointed. The premises are gorgeous and clean and the girls are well trained and lovely. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oh. My. Gosh. I just had the best massage and cupping treatment of my life from Wiwik, at the Chantara spa in Sanur!
She is a healer to the max! She massively improved my lower back pain, and pinpointed the real source of the injury. She’s an angel, and a born healer.
I am going to try and make all my friends come here from around the island just to receive her healing magic! I could barely walk 4 days ago when lower back spasms landed me on the floor. I could only craw for days.
It’s so vulnerable to put yourself in someone’s hands when you are injured, but Wiwik is so sensitive and attuned to the body. She has the perfect balance of intense deep tissue strength, with tender healing touch, so it’s never too much. The intensity is always amazing and healing.
Her English is amazing too, so she’s easy to communicate with, and she’s an absolute sweet heart! Do yourself a favor and come experience her magic!!!

Superb service. Very attentive staff, friendly, super clean place. The only regret is I did not find them earlier! I will definitely return several times. For those short on time but looking to get a facial and massage done, I requested to have a masseuse do a massage during my facial and they happily obliged. I even had a small discount!

Absolutely horrible experience. The massage itself was fine. However, the parlour was clearly poorly managed. They appeared to have made back-to-back bookings that they clearly did not have room for. My sister and I had opted to shower. They told us that we only had 5 mins to shower. No problem. It was at maximum 7 mins in, my sister was dressed and i was dressing, but i was still undressed. The manager of the parlour rudely barged into the room, while I was naked, and rudely demanded that we get out. It was an absolutely mortifying, embarrassing experience. We’ve been to bali about twice a year for the past 10 years and this was by far the WORST experience we have had. If this is your only choice to get a massage in Sanur, you’d be better off and more relaxed not getting a massage at all. Absolute nightmare! Will definitely not be returning. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
