Banjar hot springs is located in Singaraja area (maybe takes around 15 minutes from lovina beach). This hot spring has been here since over century ago. It is a simple hot springs and affordable which you can enjoy it. There are several pools from smaller to big pools. The hot water springs complex comprises four main pool sections, with the largest and central bathing pool featuring a restaurant perched high above the northern side. Beside the restaurant are restrooms, lockers and changing rooms, and a spa and massage facility.
Over all, Banjar hot springs is a good place to take a hot bathing. enjoy

This is a good place to visit for an hour or so. It costs 20 K IDR to get in and another 5 K for a locker - so it is pretty good value. The place is well organized and we found everything pretty clean and nice.
The pools are not super hot and a yellowish/ greenish colour from the sulphurous water.
You have to run the gauntlet of sellers of nic-nacs and sarongs etc but they were not very aggressive.

We did an early morning dolphin tour with friendly Karta. We left before sunrise and Karta brought some banana cakes (made by his wife) ans coffee and tea. Yes there are many other boats with the same purpose but where those are chasing the dolphins, Karta stays on a respectful distance from the animals. His words: "the dolphins like the more quiet waters". So in the end a lot of dolphins passed by our boat and we saw many!
After this we went snorkeling, coloured fish everywhere.
He charges the regular price.

These springs are thermal and thought to heal diseases as there is sulphur in the water- known locally as holy hot springs. Worth a visit if you find yourself in North Bali one day. I recommend going early to avoid crowds: weekend locals and busloads of tourists during the week. I arrived at 9.30 am and had a quiet hour before it got busy. It's relaxing and low-key. A great place to take a book and read in the gardens if you're travelling solo. Very peaceful. Did I feel better afterwards? Most definitely. I plan to visit again a few times before leaving the area.

We were quite disappointed by these hot springs, they are two artificial pools under payment of admission surrounded by several restaurants that makes it look more like a theme park. The facilities are quite old and maintenance scarce, not to mention cleaning the area to change that are a few unisex single rooms unkept. The pools are supposed to be thermal water but it has a pretty nasty verdin in the background. I don't think it's a good investment of your time. In favor compared to other hot springs Bali is that it is not very crowded and if you want some nice photos then it is not bad.

We travelled here from Kubutambahan. I took my younger brother and my six-year-old son who loved that the water was like a bath! There is also a stunning Buddhist Temple close by and there is an opportunity to buy souvenirs from the stalls on the way in. If you're from England, then you will notice that eh rather is exactly the same colour as The Roman Baths in Bath. We loved all of our bathing experiences in Bali and there are many!

The trip to these hot baths that have been untouched by time is 100% worth it.
Small scale, not touristic, quiet and peaceful. The surroundings, i.e. the view from the hot baths are amazing: tropical green in all its glory.
Take your time, and submerge in the various hot water baths.

Nestled in a very beautiful botanical setting, the thermal bath is certainly worth a visit. 20k rupees is a reasonable price for entry. The temperature seems to be much lower than in the private hot springs of the hotels. You should also not be afraid of the green water, although it is photographically appealing. On the short walk from the parking lot to the entrance, you will be accompanied by stallholders who are good at selling things☹️

The springs are very hot and very pleasant. Made up of several pools, including a deep one for swimming.
The water is sulfuric and therefore allows us to recharge our batteries while doing good for our skin.
The sulfur smells slightly but nothing blocking.
Allow 45k IDR for entry.

Dirty milky water with green moss. We were excited to visit a hot spring until we stepped into the water. The water is extremely dirty with green moss floating around. I am usually not faint of heart and don't really care if the water is not perfect but this is just unsafe to bath into. There are 3 pools with some fountains where you can have a back / neck massage from the water going down. Overall we stayed 30 minutes before leaving because it was too gross. Avoid otherwise prepare to be sick.
