Overview
More
Sekumpul Waterfall is touted as the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. It is fairly close to Niagara Falls Lemukih, only about 2 km away. Understandably, the Village and Village Lemukih Sekumpul indeed neighbors. To see Sekumpul Waterfall close, it takes a bit of effort and struggle. From the parking lot, you have to walk quite far away, down a dirt road, down the hundreds of stairs, and across the river. When you ride a motorcycle, you can still ride from the parking lot (near the ticket window), to the end of the road paving. After paving the way out, the road turned into a narrow dirt road (footpath). Not long down the path, you arrived at a blank bale (gazebo) with Niagara Falls Sekumpul incredible lure.

If you go there at midday youll be exhausted as hell. since its a lot of steps to climb and go down. The waterfall itself is amazing!

I had previously read many negative reviews about the aggressive scammers, and this almost made me not go. If you go by motorbike, and follow the directions on google map, this will take you through a small road, which i believe avoids the scammers (we...More

If you review any normal Bali tour, this destination is not there in their usual travel plan. However this is something like MUST VISIT destination. If you go there, it is advisable to take local guide (while it is not compulsory). The guide association has...More

Getting to the falls involves multiple steps. Step one, don't stop at the multiple parking areas and fee stations, there are about 6 or 7 different parking areas, pick one. The costs are negotiable and I had no problem supporting the local village and guides....More

We visited Sekumpul as part of a day trip from Ubud to Lovina & we were not disappointed, it was stunning. I would recommend hiring a guide as it is not expensive given that the falls are a long way & not straight forward to...More

Not as far as expected! No problem for the kids 9, 7 and almost 6 years. Both waterfalls should be seen, at the second one there are not so many tourists. Very nice experience swimming underneath! Absolutely recommended!

It’s not that it’s dangerous, it’s just that it’s long and tiring. I wouldn’t take my two year old. It’s a long hike down, then a good mile way through and along a river. The path is slippery and I found it tough to stand up... More
