The water sports at the Tanjung Benoa is just average, though many tourists visit this spot. The prices charged is very high and not to the expectations of the tourists. The sot itself is very niceand many tourist prefer sub bathing. There is a restaurant too. The facilities for changing is good.

Our family of five opted to do a snorkeling trip which included glass bottom boat and turtle island. We opted not to go to turtle island after hearing how bad it was. The snorkeling is on a reef with 50 other boats felt quite dangerous to be snorkeling amongst them. Petrol fumes floating rubbish everywhere, guides smoking and throwing their butts into the water. There were some fish but you were encouraged to feed them bread which can’t be great for their diet. We got out after 30mins as there were no different fish that we could see. The glass bottom boat was more of the same so we just asked to go home. The next day we went to Sunday’s Beach Club, better snorkeling and kayaks and paddle boards included in cost. Go somewhere else I say if you want a nice day out snorkeling.

This was the worst experience in Bali. Such a complete waste of money and time. He charged us 160$ for glass bottom boat, visit turtle island and parasailing. The water was filthy, dirty and not safe at all. He just pressured us into paying and was very pushy. Turtle island isn’t even an island. Just a horrible place. Never go there!

I normally wouldn’t say anything at all but am so incredibly sick right now I just want others to know what they’re walking into. First of all, I was totally ripped off on the price. I paid $120 solo for parasailing and flyboarding (jet packing) because I didn’t even get my time in either. They rush everyone around which makes boarding incredibly unsafe. While jetpacking, the driver got way too close and I slammed my foot onto the fiberglass causing bleeding and told him but he brushed me off. The experience was supposed to last 15 minutes and lasted maybe 5. The water looked like total sewage, completely disgusting. I would never go here again or recommend to others. I’m now sick from the infection and should’ve done better research to find out that this place is gross. My driver was amazing and recommended it but I don’t blame him at all - he said it would be the safest of the other vendors on the beach and he was probably right. Either way, would never go back here.

Although the children loved the rides I was disappointed with the time on the banana boat. We paid for 4 rides of 15 minutes. The first two rides were eight minutes long. I timed another family, their ride was 7.5 minutes long. I complained and the children received an additional ride. Be careful and make sure you get what you pay for.
