Well just arrived home after many trips to to Bali and a few to this resort. Felt it needed a little updating and some maintenance needed but everything else is so good. Loved the spa pool,no children under 12 allowed ,just stunning, beautiful , tranquil retreat, double lane lap pool. Beautiful surrounds and gardens, spa treatments are so good. Yes, you can get them cheaper outside of the hotel, but the quality is here and worth the extra dollars. Buffet breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of foods but really unhappy that there are no pork products served (bacon). Also coffee service is no longer available - help yourself from the machine. We had Christmas Eve buffet in the main restaurant was amazing, massive choice of seafood, meats, salads, deserts etc, some of the highest quality I have ever seen, including fruit carvings, also service was excellent. Our room was very nice ,cleaned very well every day,and air con was very good. The staff were polite and kind. We did notice maintenance had dropped - straw roofs in poor repair in places. Other things we noticed - having to sign for pool towels at spa, no conditioner, towels, in spa changing room - were a little annoying. Staff no longer dressing the changing rooms and spa surrounds, statues etc with frangipani flowers. Tiny detail but we noticed it.

First time having a full body massage and it was amazing. 5 oils to choose from. Had a private couples room where me and my wife had side by side treatments. Was private and open allowing natural cool air to flow as well as natural sounds. Was so peaceful and relaxing found it hard to stay awake. 1st day had Natural Bali Massage (50 minutes) then on the penultimate day of our stay had 2 hour serentity combo.

My brother and I were staying at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa so I thought I’d try to attached spa while I was there. Note that it’s a separate business in its own right so you pay them directly rather than charging to your room. The spa is a short walk from the hotel reception area and you pass it as you drive in to the hotel. The spa has a large pool/lagoon in a tranquil garden setting shaded with frangipani with plenty of sun beds and water features. It begs you to spend some time relaxing there and I had a 2 swims. There is a tennis court attached and other facilities. I had a one hour massage which commenced with a foot scrub using therapeutic salt. They place a pretty flower bowl arrangement under your message table so you aren’t staring at the floor - a nice touch I thought. The massage was very good, though it’s aimed at relaxation and I would have preferred something a bit more vigorous. There are sauna, shower & locker facilities near the pool and massage rooms. Prices are high for Bali (similar to what you pay in Australia) but it’s a hotel spa where prices are generally higher. All in all a very good spa with excellent service.

Awesome massage that lasted almost an hour. we were able to choose the fragrance of the massage oil that was used so we had something we liked. The foot massage and salt rub to start was just a hint of what was to come. The hardest part was trying to stay awake, we enjoyed it so much we booked another for the following day
