- samsBrisbane, Australia19 contributionsSomething For EveryoneThis is our second trip to Bali and The Collection, both after covid also. Both visits have had a great selection of restaurants to choose from, catering for most cuisines. The atmosphere isn’t too busy which is what we like. It’s a nice environment with music and lit up trees. Well worth the visit as there is something for everyone.Visited September 2023Traveled with friendsWritten September 23, 2023
- Jo SEssex, United Kingdom81 contributionsLovely afternoon tripThe Bali Collection was definitely worth a visit. It was walkable from my hotel, there were plenty of shops offering everything from clothes, souvenirs, coffee, groceries and lots of restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the grounds were kept very tidy. There was security to make sure everyone was safe and a taxi service, should you need it.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 8, 2023
- bb9000cdeCastle Rock, Colorado727 contributionsNice visit when at Nusa Dua area - great shops and restaurantsGreat spot near the Nusa Dua hotels- nice shops, live music and restaurants. Easy walk and shuttle that runs once an hour. We enjoyed traditional Balinenese food, Indian and Italian. Nice traditional shops for loval artesian crafts too!Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 18, 2023
- natclayQuinns Rocks, Australia207 contributionsOK, but still recovering from Covid. We visited Bali Collection as we were staying in a nearby hotel. As others have mentioned, it has definitely changed post Covid. Fewer restaurants and shops are open, but it is worth a visit if you are looking for places to eat that are cheaper than the hotels. We only ate once here but staff were friendly and service was good.Visited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 25, 2023
- PerthLivingLifeFremantle, Australia201 contributionsPleasant shopping experienceWe visited at night. It was quite pretty with fairy lights in the trees. Lots of good restaurants with live music. We really liked Nusa by Suka restaurant. Great food, waitstaff and entertainment. The shopping was reasonably quite and shop owners don’t hassle you. Nice place to visit in the evening.Visited October 2023Traveled with friendsWritten October 27, 2023
- Polly JNew South Wales, Australia273 contributionsIt’s not as goodI do feel that it has gone down hill since we last visited in 2019, not sure if it is still recovering from COViD impact. I agree with another review that options seem less and def more expensive. Most food and drinks is cost wise is on par with Aussie prices. For example last night we had an Indian, one drink each, 2 naan, 2 appetisers, 2 veggie mains one small rice, was AU$ 95, which more than we pay at our local and wasn’t that good. Also I don’t mind paying if it’s good. The shopping variety has reduced even in SOGO. In Uncle Jo’s the grocers, be careful prices aren’t on everything and was got stung with a $14 bag of chips/crisps. Plus points seeing the kids demonstrating cultural dancing and the security/ taxi line is so well organised.Visited December 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten December 30, 2023
- Simon BCity of Greater Geelong, Australia4,115 contributionsNeeds 1 restaurant to have A/CCaught the BC shuttle from nearby resort. Wandered the open air mall and browsed through a few shops. Part of exploratory plan was to find a restaurant to book for Xmas Eve dinner. Unfortunately a prime need was one that had internal closed option with air conditioning. Weary hot teenagers had made dinner moods a little flat and irritable. Unfortunately despite lots of places with overhead fans, none offered A/C. Booked elsewhere outside BC (Kagura Japanese) as ticked box for comfort eating as group. Some prices at BC look expensive relative to same quality products or food back in Australia.Visited December 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten January 6, 2024
- A W22 contributionsNeed this placed restored to its former glory - Covid cant be an excuse anymoreI think what is lacking here is a retailer community group. They are still recovering from Covid, which was a long time ago and should not still be used as an excuse. The Nusa Dua hotels (and Bali itself) have never been busier, some taking more business than pre covid. So we need them to sort this out and restore the collection to its former glory. Has anyone approached the hotels for investment?Visited December 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten January 10, 2024
- jarrodjohnstoneGreater Melbourne, Australia73 contributionsThe place to shop in Nusa DuaBali collection is the place to go for Western style shopping in Nusa Dua. I was nervous having read the reviews but it’s great. There are souvenir shops, branded outlets and local sellers of clothes, jewellery, crafts etc. Around 10 restaurants as well as coffee shops, ice creameries, bars etc. Expect higher prices than a bargain shop but cheaper than Australia. Restaurant (UNO) was reasonably priced and with a lovely atmosphere. 650k for dinner, 2 adults and 2 kids including a drink.Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten January 16, 2024
- Shar L12 contributionsGood, safe shopping spotWhat a great place to wander around & browse through some shops, pop in & have a massage or stop for a bite to eat. And if you’re staying at a resort, their local supermarket is a great place to pick up some cheaper drinks & chips. And when it’s time to leave & you’re too tired to walk, they’ll grab a car for you for $5 AUD.Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 7, 2024

Great mall
Map given by security guard gave us easy directions where to find everything needed from clothing to supermarket to restaurants to art and souvenirs at reasonable prices. No being hassled for a sale at all.
Mall supposedley doesnt allow Go Jek (similar to Uber) taxi service to pick you up from mall but can order down the road..that was only downside.
Otherwise great place to visit and lots of shade during the heat

Overrate and only decent market near Nusa Dua. This place and prices are meant for western or Australian tourists who are willing to play more than other tourists. IF you get a chance to shop in Ubud or on the road, please do that and don't wait till the end of your visit,

The eateries are all very good and due to the large number of them, the prices are very competitive. The local supermarket for supplies is a little expensive though...check your exchange rates to make sure you are not paying through the nose for things.

After reading many reviews about Bali Collection I felt I needed to add my opinion.
Most importantly my wife, kids and I felt safe and the facility was in good safe repair, amazingly clean air conditioned toilets were a great bonus.
The interactions we had with staff (incl taxi drivers, security, retail staff) was in line with the beautiful hospitality we have received from the Balinese as a whole since arriving.
Shopping was good, whilst normal prices are only slightly cheaper than back home, there were many special’s to be had (nautica shirts 70% off, 2 Ralph polo’s for $100AUD etc) The family also loved the “markets” style shops.
There are many Restaurant options and the kids were able to have ice cream from Cold Rock (not withstanding the ice cream was expensive v 5 star hotel prices)
Finishing off with $15 massages in Air conditioning (for 30mins) was a great way to finish and refresh.
There are a few vacant shops however as others have mentioned the COVID recovery (whilst well on its way) isn’t quite done. It’s also great to see some renovating/further investment that will further add to the overall shopping experience.
Remember to buy some local smiles where you can (tip☺️) I’ve had many conversations with locals about how hard it’s been for them (many with young kids) and a few $ here and there makes a world of difference.

We regularly visited the Bali Collection during our stay at The Novotel. It has some really nice restaurants where we dined on several occasions. There are some really large souvenir shops with a good range of local arts and crafts. We were there at a quiet time and so there was a fare amount of pressure to come and try different restaurants. You can try the sucking fish massage , but I found it too ticklish to sustain,!!

Free shuttle was provided by Bali Collection, we took the pickup from our hotel Sofitel with 1 hour interval in the afternoon. Shopped at Polo, mostly are those made locally.
We then took a taxi that costed USD 5 to Amarterra Villas for dinner, only to realize the hotel was just next door, within walking distance. I did enquire a lady and a gentlemen working there at the Reception but both never mentioned the walking distance, so it was very disappointed that the staff there were not helpful. Even the taxi driver took advantage and drove so slowly. Next time, better do our own research before going there.

We visited the place twice during our stay, mainly due to Sogo and another the her store selling local handicrafts. They are both good and offer a lot under one roof . While these are more expensive than street markets, you are assured of good quality at a decent price. We also visited Guardian for water and cough lozenges, there’s a good choice of eateries in the area too although we stuck to food inside our hotel due to food safety concerns.

Staying in the Nusa Dua area we could walk to the Bali Collection centre and they also offer a free hourly shuttle bus to local hotels.
We had been to Bali Collection several years ago and it seems that a lot of the shops and restaurants have been closed (due to the effects of Covid). However, it is good to see that a few new restaurants have opened in the past few months and hopefully places will continue to open again.
If you are staying in the Nusa Dua area it's still a good place to visit and the restaurants are cheaper than the 5 star hotels that surround it.

Perfect service .the staff have made the vacation a perfecexperience with friendly nature and great conversation!
The food is delicious at every restaurant even in the dining room . The on-site dishes have lots of delicous dishes and very delicious afternoon tea. Can be done with more salty foods at afternoon tea.
The villa is perfect. Maintain perfect with both cleaning services that occur at breakfast or dinner. The pool is fantastic and the jacuzzi is fantastic. The shower was at a great pressure and of course the automatic restroom was a nice touch. Excellent use of all the spaces through the villas. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows.

Too many hard surfaces, too little shade and the products for sale were repetitive. The handicrafts were overpriced and there was very little choice. The restaurants were bland and could have been anywhere in the world. Not our style at all.
For those looking for supermarket items the Coco was more expensive than any other supermarket - including Coco supermarkets in Nusa Dua.

Is there a shuttle pick up from Agata resort, Nusa Dua
Written February 25, 2020
I cannot post the url: Please google Bali Collection Shuttle Bus
All the pickup points (hotels) are listed there. Agata is not listed, but nearby hotel might. I was there last week, and the brochure they gave is the same as this link.
Do check out my review of Bali Collection (sorry cant post the url here due to TA policy): I would avoid taxi at all cost.

I think the Bali Collection will be somewhere we come a lot for dinner whilst holidaying in Nusa Dua what’s the average meal price please (average range not drinkers). Is there entertainment here or something to keep us occupied after dinner?
Written May 22, 2019
An average meal for one person is about 90,000 to 100,000 idr
No entertainment around.
Written August 15, 2019
Yes, theres 2 beaches. If you come out the back of Bali Collection and follow the road down you will find it easily. Beach on the right seemed calmer.
Written May 12, 2019
Bali Collection is a complex of shops and restaurants aimed at the guests in the 5* Hotels in the Nusa Dua complex. As such, the prices are very high by local Bali standards. Prices in the restaurants are close to 5* Hotel prices and the quality varies a lot. I imagine that the ITDC (Indonesian Toursim Development Corporation) which manages the complex charges high rents to the various business owners in Bali Collection which is why their prices are so high. It's pleasant to have a stroll around but I recommend you eat elsewhere for better and less costly food at local prices.

I guess restaurant prices are up here. so far quality and authenticity is only at a few places like Ginger House Italian and Teppanyaki.Any other ones?
Written December 5, 2018
I tried 2 here and for Balinese or Indonesian just go outside of btdc area as prices are way too expensive in bc.i agree on ginger house its authentic food and delicious
