The Segara beach is more of an extension of the pantai kuta. The place is good for a morning or evening walk and a point to experience the sun set just as any other Bali beach.

Just south of Kuta's main beach, but basically part of the Kuta beach area. I do not see the logic behind the name Segara, which is the Malay word for Ocean. The first part near Pura Pakendungan temple you could still call a beach, but...More

Like all of the long beachs north of the airport, this one is no different. Its filthy with plastic and bamboo, driftwood and general rubbish.

A CHEAT SHEET FOR THE TIME-SHORT TRAVELER “Plenty pass by SEGARA, but few know”, you say to the cocktail hour gang back at the hotel. “It’s just south of KUTA MAIN BCH** including that strip behind the big DISCOVERY MALL**. As you know, a coastal...More

This is the stretch of beach fronting Discovery Mall with nice sunset views. It is not advisable to walk along the beach as it is covered in trash. We enjoyed our drink while taking in the view during our shopping break.

This beach is at the far end of Kuta toward the airport and right in front of Discovery Mall for gret shopping. The beach is nice and has a rock reef you can stand on to take great sunset pictures. There also is a fantastic...More

Walk there during my visit in Vasanti. It is actually nice to sit and play with since they had unique landing plane view (located beside the airport) but there are a lot of trash. Like literally it is covered with trash. Probably need some professional...More
