- Suhartono H NgadipawiroSolo, Indonesia1,289 contributionsNice viewThe way to beach is good, seems new development, entering the gate and side by side, its pitty there is bad environment un finished building construction. The beach is quite good, huge parking lot, musholla available eventhough need touch up seriously (cleanliness), it is recommended as one of good destination in Bali. We have to tightening schedule since we have to catch up to KECAK DANCE. Thank youVisited December 2023Traveled with friendsWritten December 4, 2023
- Ellismc1Ubud, Indonesia166 contributionsEasy access beach.Cars can drive directly to beach parking which gives this beach good access for those with restricted mobility. At the time of visiting, this was a beach of locals only. Sunbeds available for 50 000 IDR each, and a selection of drinks/snacks/warungs of local standards. Public toilets that do not have flushing cisterns.Visited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 17, 2024

I do not know what good this beach is. A lot of tourists, big enough waves, would not recommend tourists with children. Once you can come, put a mark and take a couple of photos. I would recommend smaller beaches nearby.

We came here by scooter from Nusa Dua. It was a "long trip" from our hotel but it is nice also to see how people live out the hotel and tourism zone. When you arrive at Pandawa Beach you need to pay access and it it 15.000 Rp each person its 0.80 cents Euro.. When you arrive down at the beach you have many beach clubs. We went to the Roosterfish that I really recommend for his good food and good service.
The sea is here beautiful and the view is also amazing.

Its a good beach with proper access. The beach is quite clean and has a line of restaurants and shops along the beach. There are umbrellas and seats on the beach which can be rented for ~50k.
The viewpoint from the top is very good. Its not secluded and decently crowded.

Pandawa beach is located at the very south end of Bali and hence has a cliff-side backdrop. The beach itself was quite amazing with nice scenery, amazing blue waters (which we didn't find in most other beaches) and was a decently long enough beach with fine sand to spend a nice afternoon/evening.
We ended up visiting around mid-day when the waters were very rough. Though we tried getting into the water but the waves were crashing hard against our bodies, they were so high that they ended up wetting our sunbeds and all our bags & clothes. The place has a lot of small warungs nearby for food and drinks.
Overall a good beach, maybe not good for swimming.

It was a 15 min ride on a bike from our hotel in jimbaran. Easy to locate using google maps. If u go little further, there was this isolated beach.
Anyways Pantai Pandawa beach is a must visit when u r in south bali
A lot of activities too here . Near the entrance u can see d statues of the Pandavas(5brothers from mahabharata)

If you love to visit beaches with crystal clear water early in the morning, you will love Pandawa Beach. Go early and talk to the locals while they are setting up for the day. Watch the sufers catch a wave. Go for a swim as you watch the sun come up.
Enjoy before the tourist busses come in.

I read reviews of this beach and the words used to describe it was “pristine”, “gem of a place” etc. you get the picture.
Hence we were excited to go visit this beach. Lo and behold the absolute disappointment the moment we hit the shores (had to walk past the rows of establishments sprung up to capture the tourist dollar).
Beach was dirty, overcrowded and had a lack of public amenities (I don’t count those toilets set up by commercial establishments and which are also dirty as public amenities).
The water was also not clear so I’m really unsure how adjectives such as pristine could be used to describe it.

Pandawa Beach in Bali, Indonesia, is one of the most exciting and exotic tourist destinations I have ever visited. Its hidden location behind the hills makes it like a "secret beach" that attracts every visitor. I was very impressed with the beauty of nature, especially the soft white sand and clear sea water, making every step on this beach like walking in heaven.
When I arrived on the beach, I was immediately amazed by the view of the high and magnificent limestone cliffs. These streets narrowed by limestone cliffs not only offer remarkable visual beauty, but are also a popular Instagramable photo spot. On one side of the cliff, I found a giant statue of Panca Pandawa, which is the origin of the beach's name. These statues not only add to the uniqueness of the coast, but also have interesting historical values for visitors.
I also love the activities that can be done on this beach. While enjoying the beauty of nature, I could swim under relatively calm, clear waves and clean white sand. In addition, I can also sunbath and relax on the shore or walk around the beach in a canoe. This activity is not only fun, but also provides a unique and unforgettable experience.
My Recommendation: Don’t miss out on a visit to Pandawa Beach, especially if you’re looking for a unique tourist destination full of natural beauty. Make sure your friends also enjoy activities such as swimming, canoeing around the coast, and watching the seaweed cultivation process. The beach is also ideal for families because of its comfortable and safe atmosphere.

Are there any taxis available to use back to Kuta?
Written April 30, 2019
hi, you can use grab to go there which is more cheaper, but you may have problem to get back from the beach to town as not much grab around the beach. other option is you can ask hotel for private transport (supir), and trust me the fees is very reasonable. they will wait for you till you finished at the beach and send you back to the hotel safely.

Is it accessible for wheelchair? I plan to visit this place but suddenly i have a broken foot.
Written July 14, 2018
It is accessible if you meant to walk around the beach but be extra careful because of the uneven roads, constructions around and sandy pathways.

Is it ok if I just take Grab/Uber? I just want to enjoy the sunset here. I don’t want to take trip since we only have limited time.
Do we need to take boat to reach the beach?

Lots of areas in Bali where TVNs like Grab and Uber are banned. Best to rent a vehicle.

Does anyone know of places in Bali which we can go up close to take pictures with an abandoned plane?
Written October 9, 2017
I think the one in Gianyar the Real plane in Keramas Aero Park. It's a Plane Restaurant at the Rooftop of Keramas.

If you like a busy area, I'd recommend Kuta!
If you like a quiet area, then I'd recommend Seminyak or Nusa Dua!
In regards to activities, I'd recommend Lembongan Island as well as ATV (quad biking) and White Water Rafting!
Don't book the activities direct from your hotel because it can be very expensive!
If you want to book activities, there are many places on the street. You do have to bargain with them to get the price you want!
