Me and my fiance did a day surf trip with Edwin to Canggu, the waves were fun and he knows what he is talking about, hes a good bloke to chill out and have a bintang on the beach with aswell.

Brilliant for confidence !

I had my first ever surf lesson, and I was really worried, and slightly afraid of the sea.

But actually it was amazing Ed was a really great teacher explaining everything really well! He gave great feed back explaining everything positively and I had a really fab time!

So glad I chose to go here it was brilliant value for money and I feel that because it was a one to one lesson I improved really well.

Great Intro To Surfing!

Edwin was a good teacher and had a lot of information about the ocean and how it relates to surfing. It was a fun was to spend the morning! I was pleasantly surprised by facebook photos posted later that evening from our session. I only wish I could've taken the time to surf and learn more!

Couldn't ask for a better instructor!

I have to be honest when I read all these 5 star reviews, I was a bit suspicious. 5 stars is a lot right? Maybe all his friends are writing these? :-) Needless to say, I emailed him two weeks before I got to Bali and I received right away a response. Once I was at the beach, we started with the introduction class, because I was a complete beginner. We went over the basics, which I find really important in any sport. You see beginners, just renting a short board and hitting the waves not knowing what to do. We went over the basics and the third time I stood up I was already standing on my board. Awesome feeling!

The day before I walked around on the beach and yes there are instructors who have much cheaper prices, I can't compare really what they have to offer. Edwin's English is also very proficient, so everything was really clear to me. After that I went surfing at Kuta Lombok which is a very different experience, because those are reef breaks, but remembering Edwin's classes I had another great experience. Surfing will become a new part of my life, because of him! :)

The No.1 address for an enjoyable surf experience with an expert teacher and good guy, who also has great tips beyond surfing, like fried bananas for lunch break ;) Absolute recommendation!

More than a teacher, Edwin is a surf bro

It ha our third (3) time with Edwin in Kuta.
He is really incomparable surfer, we spent a lot of time in total in the ocean.
In April we started from soft and big boards and now we are surfing on hard boards on 4-6 feet waves.

For Edwin: We are looking forward to next time, we like surfing with you ;)

Amazing surfing for 4 days

Found Edwin in TripAdvisor and it was really cool experience and funny time.
His English is good, he teached us a lot of useful things related to the ocean, waves. If you a beginner, you should take 2-3 lesson with him.

Amazing surf

We had a 3 days surf lesson with Edwin. He teached us how to surf in the best way and also how the waves works. He is very good in English so you understand everything and he teach out in a very pedagogically way.

We had 3 amazing surf days and I truly recommend Edwin if you want to learn surf in the best way 🏄🏼‍♀️

Stumbled across Edwins review when I was looking for a private lesson to improve our surf skills, and the reviews convinced me to drop him an email. We have been surfing sporadically for a couple of years, but really wanted to understand the technicalities of surfing better. All the previous classes we attended at surf schools promised it but never did really deliver.The rest is history - we booked 2 days with him, extended for a 3rd and would have done the 4th on the day we flew back, but the waves weren't great sadly. I liked that he talked us through the technical elements of the waves and what we were trying to do, and during the session he would correct us and give feedback. He is very patient and just coaches you with his favourite: "DO IT" when you catch the wave. After sessions we would sit, have coffee and chat about everything. He answered all our questions on surfing, boards, styles and waves, and we'd stay there for another 2 hours. Had so much fun surfing this trip - already planning another one back! See you soon Edwin!

Best instructor in Kuta!!!

We are so happy about today!!! We had a 2 hours lesson with Edwin who was so patient and professional, giving us helpful feedback to made us understand what we had to focus on. It was our first lesson ever, after a first theoretical explanation we started with the practice, and at the end of the day we were confident with surf, that's sound unbelievable just few hours before! He speaks a perfect English.
We highly recommend Edwin, for his safety and funny lesson...number one!!! Thank you Edwin!
