If you're looking to kill some time between checkout and flight home, this is perfect. I had 5 hours to kill so I treated myself to their 4 hour Luxury Package which, after the 30% discount you get for booking directly on their website, cost a very reasonable AUS$80. Something like this would cost upwards of $300 in Australia and doubtful it would be as good. What a delightful experience it was and I walked out of there feeling brand new. The staff were all very professional and friendly and took very good care of me. I was very happy with each individual treatment included in the 4 hour package and would not hesitate to recommend Anika Spa to anyone.

We visited Anika's Spa in Kuta Bali. The staff greeted us with a friendly and warm welcome. It was our 10th wedding anniversary on the day we arrived at the spa. After our fabulous and ever so relaxing treatments. We had a surprise from the owner when she walked in with a 10th anniversary cake with a candle burning, It was amazing we sat outside shared our lovely cake with the staff and they offered us ginger and lime tea. Wow what a memorable day. Well recomended to anyone looking for a great spa day, we will visit Anika's spa again when we visit Bali in the future. Thank you xx

The place is nice, clean and well decorated for a spa. However beware how they sell you the various massage packages. The lady person who served us will give very high prices and expect you to bargain. I found her to be somewhat rude. Prices at this spa are very expensive compared with other spas along Kuta. I paid a lot for my massage compared to what I could have gotten at other spas in Kuta and felt cheated!
I did not know better as I am a tourist in Bali.

We planned our trip through looking at reviews on TripAdvisor, so our experiences at spas were top-notch because we selected only the best. We came here yesterday as it was our last day in Bali and we wanted to have one last spa experience before heading to the airport at 10pm. A hotel staff member suggested this place as Anika Spa does free transfers from your hotel to the spa, and then they drop you off at the airport after. That was the only pro.
We paid about AUD55 each for a 2-hour spa treatment, which involved a foot bath and scrub, an hour-long massage, a body scrub and mask, and a flower bath. The place looked a bit dated, you could tell from the walls, but there was a nice gazebo and a small shallow pool within the compound. The room was small with two beds, but there was a nice stone bath which looked quite big and spacious for two people.
The massage was absolutely terrible. You could tell that the massage was a very well-practiced sequence, but the lady did nothing in relaxing me. Her fingers were not deft, the strokes were too soft, and she was pressing ALL THE WRONG AREAS! For example, during the back massage, the points on my shoulders were calling out, expecting her to sense the knots and massage it out, but she pretty much missed all the sore spots. She would barely miss the problem areas, and continue on half-heartedly to the next part of the body. There was one point where I asked if she could use a bit more pressure, so SHE PRESSED MY ENTIRE INNER THIGH AND IT HURT. I half considered asking her to just stop the treatment because I honestly couldn't see myself relaxing anymore. The body scrub and mask were average, and when they ladies told us to get into the flower bath, they just stood there waiting for us to strip. My partner has to ask them to leave so we could have our privacy.
The flower bath was a saving grace, and I liked the size of the stone tub. It was very spacious, and the shampoo they provided smelt nice as well. However, all in all, we will never come here again unless the spa teaches their therapists the proper techniques of massage. I don't expect trained therapists with certificates and all, but at least know where to feel the knots and stress areas on the body and know what to do with them.

I had booked online with anisa spa. When I arrived at the spa it is in someones backyard. The spas name is anikas. Apparently anisa spa is the agent and they assign business to anikas. Old creaky bed. Torn mattress. Dirty ceiling. Smelly sheets. The treatments were so disappointing, hardly any effort put into it. The ladies have no training and just sort of make it up as they go. Loud talking by staff who are not working. No peace or serenity. I wouldnt even give the place 1 star. I wouldnt even send mother in law here...

I booked my 2 massages on line from Sydney to get a discount. On arrival for the first we were charged an extra 10% tax on top and I didnt want to argue as I was tired and needed my 2 hour massage desperately. As I was leaving I heard the staff negotiating with someone and she said she would discount the cost by the tax!! I was really disappointed so I emailed to cancel a further massage I had booked and advised that I would be putting the incident on tripadvisor as it is a huge marketing tool in Bali.
The response was that it was a mistake and I would get 10% extra off my next massage. I didn't feel it was a genuine mistake or a genuine want to look after me so I didn't return. Then they offered one free massage but it was too late.

This spa was included in our holiday package. We had to pay for our own transfer to the spa both ways, the bathroom needed some cleaning and massage therapist uniforms were not consistent with each other compared to the other spas we visited. Anika's had raving reviews but we were a little underwhelmed by the experience. The massages were ok and the therapists and staff were friendly.
