Have been going to Shinkei Spa since 2009 and regular visit for all my spa needs on my annual trips.
Staff always friendly and service always good.
Waterfall feature adds to tranquility and takes your mind away from the business or Legian just outside the door.
Traditional massage always my favourite.
Massage bed has a lockable draw and you keep key. You know your belongings are safe while you relax.
Massage beds are very comfortable.

The massage itself was fantastic. The whole experience was brilliant with the sounds of flowing water in the background, relaxing Balinese music, aromatic oils burning beneath you, and a cold pack over your eyes. I did not want the massage to end!! Definitely the best massage in Kuta. A bit more expensive than the rest in the area (115k for a 1 hour massage as opposed to the average of 75k in the area) but the whole experience and tea and biscuits you get at the end make it so worth it.

This is my 3rd time to Bali and I am here everyday! I know is excessive, but the professionalism and service is beyond excellent!

On my first trip I went to 5 different place before I found Shinkei and I havnt looked back. There was no one pulling me in from the street, I just simply walked in and receive the most relaxing and safe experience that I couldn’t fault. A traditional 1 hour body massage cost 125k ($12.50 AUD)! Not only is it so cheap, but the provide locked draws at the foot of your table, with a key that they put around your wrist for security. Every staff memeber is extremely professional, well trained and friendly. They also provide you with water when you arrive and ginger tea before you depart and are open ridiculously late, so you can get a relaxing massage before bed.

For peace of mind and absolute serinity, Shinkei can not be faulted!

After 6 weeks in Indonesia, and a few average spa treatments along the way, I tried a full package at ShinKei before flying home. I got the Honeymoon Package.
A bad scooter exhaust burn on my leg meant that I couldn’t do the body scrub but the friendly team swapped it out for a longer massage and a hair treatment with no problem at all.
My therapist was excellent, friendly, and he did a great job at everything in the package.
The spa was clean and pleasant to spend nearly 5 hours in for the package, the large waterfall window blocks out exterior noise so you can relax properly.
Definitely recommend this spa as your option for great treatments at a good price in Kuta.

Went here based on the reviews and was not disappointed. It's a bit on the pricey side (170rp for 1h Thai massage) but was better than any other massage I've received in Bali or Lombok. There are plenty of massage shops in Kuta that do a poor job of just rubbing your back or try to rip you off by giving you less time than you paid for. At Shinkei, you get a good massage that leaves you feeling refreshed.

Every time I went for massage services, it was consistent. Massages were strong and did magic on the body. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this place. The prices are a bit higher than others but definitely worth quality over quantity. Don't miss out. Foot massage 75000...massage...115000.

After passing countless spas with massages for 60,000 - 80,000 we decided to pay that extra. The difference was huge. The spa was much better appointed, more relaxing, staff much kinder and it just offered that little extra. I guess you get what you pay for and those little extra touches were defiantly worth the extra few dollars. Great massage, left me wanting more.

The massages are always professionally done, every time i come back. I don't have a particular masseuse just because i tend not to review based on just one try out. But Shinkei Spa masseuses are all well trained i guess cos i had always get the most amazing traditional massages with a relaxing after effect. They got nice staff, wifi, lovely ambiance. Nothing beats this place. Creambath for the hair is also a must try. 1hr back, neck and shoulder massage costs about 140k, full body massage goes probably 200k, thereabouts probably a bit more. It is no doubt a little more compared to other places along kuta and legian, but GOD it is so worth it. It is along Legian Memorial. You wont miss it. :)

Friendly, welcoming staff and great massages very close to the Kuta memorial on Legian. Particularly enjoyed the Thai massages I had - ask for Dul if you go there, he's an expert as well as being a very nice man.
Highly recommended.
