it's a magic show performance, I'm very impressed! GENIUS! and I've been thinking very hard all these days on what the magician did. it's so awesome.. I don't have an idea how he did that. VERY CLEVER! i will go there again and find it out the way..

I am glad we went to see this show thanks to Trip Advisor. The location is set back from the main road and on the second floor, so a little hard to find. We made a reservation but there was no need, there were only about 30 of us in the theatre. VIP seats get you front row.
The story is basically a young Balinese man in love with a traditional girl and living a Balinese lifestyle. He then gets corrupted by Kuta and the Western lifestyle (discos, prostitutes etc) and rejects the girl and his old life and experiences the nightlife to then face his demons, then at the end he finds his way back to his first love and his culture. It's somewhat tacky and cony but a lot of fun. There are tons of magic tricks along his journey.
I would not recommend this show for kids under 5 - simply for the reason that the music is very loud but more so that the magic tricks involve cutting people in half or cutting heads off and my 5 year old got very scared and I had to tell him it's all pretend and the girls were really ok.
He enjoyed all the other magic tricks and it was just 1 hour of pure entertainment and fun - so well worth it. Highly recommended for older kids and all adults. Well done and executed and hilarious at times. Where do you get pure entertainment for $10? Go and see it.

My partner and I have just returned from 5 nights in Kuta. We had a great time made even better by our trip to see the illusion show at Kuta Theater. We went with no expectations and just thought for $9 AUD a ticket it was worth giving a go and we are so pleased we did. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Kuta area. The show last for 1 hour and although the contents changes every few months the one we saw that is running until December is a tale if change in Bali and the struggle to uphold the Balinese traditions and beliefs. I know that may sound a little heavy but it really isn't and is all entwined with some fantastic illusions and great dancing.
The theater itself is nothing special but it is easy to find right next to the water park and Bubba Gump Shrimp. We can't recommend it enough………try it you will not regret it.

it's so funny and I can't stop laugh while I watch it.. they perform a drama with a good sense of humour and great jokes. even some tourist informations call it Magic Show, but it's not a magic show with popped out Rabbit from a hat. it's more than I expected it.

Amazing mixture of contemporary magic show and beautiful age old Balinese culture. It is rate to see something completely new and unique, especially in crowded tourist destinations. Kuta Theatre was very pleasant surprise for the adults and children too. Everybody of our family enjoyed the show. I would say the concept of the show is very good, but the actors are even better. They really put their hearts to give excellent performance.

You know that feeling you get when you're watching a really bad movie and you but you can't stop watching? Well if you like that go visit this place! The tricks were ok but the performance was painfully awkward. 50 minutes of my life wasted.

Hard to find before Waterbom (from Matahari square) on the left opposite Bali Garden Hotel. Don't be put off by the theatre but this show is amazing and not at all tacky - brings Bali culture and fabulous illusions together - not to be missed.

I honestly thought this would be kind of lame. A magic show... pff.
But it's so much fun! The story is cheesy, the acting is pretty unbelievable but the magic is great. All of it somehow adds up to give you an evening of thorough entertainment. Fully recommended, this is.
(Please skip the more expensive VIP seats, they're not really worth it)

It's a hilarious magic show. After all the beaches and food and shopping, here's something very different to do - probably the most 'cultural' thing you'll find here. It's good fun, go right ahead!
PS: There's no need to take 'premium tickets' for the benefit of going in early, just stand in a line like everyone else :)
