Just an avarage mall in SE Asia that is not one of the big ones. Some nice stores, but food options were not fantastic.

We used to love coming here due to the size of Matahari's. Now its half the size and prices are 50% more. I was hoping to buy a heap of kids clothes as we always had done but walked out with nothing.

Clean enough. There are areas for relaxing. Enough choices for dining. Not too crowded. Definitely good for family with kids

Jenggala, Jalan Sunset Road - Location? (5 Replies)
Hi, does anyone know where No. 1 Jalan Sunset Road is situated, therefore is it at the bottom end of that road, which is near Mal Bali Galeria in Kuta, or is it near the top end in Seminyak? I'd like to check out Jenggala Factory Outlet when I'm in Bali next and would like to know roughly where it is before I jump in a taxi. And if anyone has been to JFO, is it worth checking out or is it mostly just 'end of line', odds and ends stock? Cheers!

Ok doing this from memory - it not at the Galleria end, its on the same side as Carefore and on a intersection - I think maybe the first or second intersection past Carefore towards seminyak. I think it just depends on your luck what and how much stock they have t

Taxi Question (5 Replies)
Please excuse the length of this post. We will be arriving on a cruise ship. It's our third time and we plan not to take an excursion like before. Due to the organized excursions, we have no clue about the practical side of Bali. We assume there are taxis waiting at the cruise port, correct? Are they metered? What is the going rate? Will the taxi driver speak enough English to understand where we want to go? Should we write the name of our destination down? In downtown Denpasar, do...More

Yes - metered taxis should be waiting, and they are very cheap providing that they use the meter. If they don't and start discussing prices just get out and take the next one that will use the meter. They should speak enough English to know where you want to go, but it doesn't hurt to write it down or print out where you want to go just in case. I can't imagine why you would be in Denpasar unless you have a specific reason to be there, research the places you want to go sightseeing or...More
