About
Mal Bali Galeria is a large shopping complex conveniently located at the Simpang Dewaruci landmark and roundabout in Kuta. The expansive shopping and entertainment precinct boasts a 'family mall' concept, carrying a slogan of 'enjoy, play, eat, shop'. Various tenants, outlets and event highlights make it a favourite destination among locals and visitors.Besides shopping and dining, Mal Bali Galeria is also a popular leisure venue where different 'happenings' regularly occur on its calendar of events. These mostly take place in its large atrium referred to as the 'dome' with a large central fountain. Adding to the convenience factor is a three-storey car park, as well as a dedicated open parking space for motorcycles in its eastern ground level.

- Felicity E4 contributionsUnderwhelmingDecent mall with usual shops we find at home in Australia. The prices were similar to home though so didn’t really buy as much as I thought we might. Little disappointing. Also it was pretty hot as most of it is open. There’s outlet stores across the road so I might try there for some bargainsVisited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 14, 2023
- Ying76Perth, Australia9 contributionsNot worth the hassleA relatively old 'open-air' mall with plenty of shop brands you see in a Bali shopping center. Due to the open-air concept, it gets uncomfortably hot during the afternoon. The traffic in the car park is atrocious and it seems like taxis/ubers need to go into the car park to get to the mall.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 3, 2023

Airconditioning struggles with the open design, tenancies similar with their open frontages. There is not a great lot of seating for visitors to sit awhile, on two occasions we had to visit a café and order a snack so that my wife could have a breather from the heat and humidity. Having said that, we did enjoy browsing, my wife in particular, unfortunately Indonesian sized clothing and footwear are unavailable for males of larger build. I’m rating as 4* for the range of outlets and ignoring the traffic nightmare encountered to/from Pantai Kuta.Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 24, 2024

If you cannot cope with the pressure selling hassle of the shopkeepers in town then a trip to the Hypermart in Galeria Mall is a MUST. They sell almost everything available in shops at really great low fixed prices. Like 5 small colourful surf board fridge magnets at 16900.
DEFINATELY worth a visit.

Can't wait to get out of it. The design and lay out of the mall is seriously flawed. Given the kind of weather and humidity one has to live in Bali, the mall does not have AC. You end up navigating in the mall in humidity and sweat all over. The individual shops may have their own AC but most of them under powered, not even cold enough. You know for sure it is a problem when the shop owners bring out their own standing fan at different corners of the shops. Kind of ugly sight really.
I would have given it a 1 star rating. 2 Star because my wife got something she wanted, which is an old design and got stockout elsewhere.

I am very fond of Indonesian malls, they're very well taken care off and exceptionally clean. Mall Galeria is not big but has got most shops and there's an amazing cinema inside. I recommend westerners visiting this mall to go to the cinema, as it is quite a different experience to go in Indonesia and super cheap.

Thanks to Hilbertus, one of their security who gave me bad experiences through his rudeness when visited this place.
I have to cancel my shopping because of his rudeness. So I believe Galleria will need to train their security better and especially make sure they behave and polite to their visitor

Our driver/guide stopped here for a brief 40 min last minute rush to the hypermart for us to shop. 40 min is way too short! It's a rather big place but not crowded. Cinema and the DFS permanently closed due to the pandemic. There is another department store Matahari but too bad we didn't have much time. Will come back again.

I had a very negative experience with Matahari, whatever you do, I would suggest don’t shop here! Every single item requires you to get a separate ticket, which makes the whole process of shopping here long and tedious. Then, having spent £300 there (replacing lost luggage) two days later I wanted to return something for a refund; it turns out they don’t offer refunds, and it then took them a whole hour to work out how they could offer me an exchange instead. The whole experience was like something from a Kafka novel. Avoid!!

Hi I am staying in Sanur, is there any place around there that's good for teeth whitening please and price .Thanks
Written March 26, 2019
Plenty of teeth whitening places around, just google 'teeth whitening Sanur Bali' and then select those of interest, get on their websites and read the reviews. Not sure of prices but a family member makes frequent of the dental hospital services in Bali on a frequent basis. I don't think any of the Aussie Health funds are allowed to partially reimburse any more., Should be still substantially cheaper than the services in MR or BY. Good luck.
