Having reading a lot of bad reviews online of people’s experiences getting to Gili T by boat I was very nervous. I was also a bit worried fast gili price was too good to be true as it was the most reasonable priced one we could find however we decided to take the chance.
I was pleasantly surprised by the service. We were collected at our hotel in Nusa dua at a 50,000 rp per person as we were out of their free transport zone. The shuttle bus came at 10 (we were told 10-11 am) which was great then we collected a couple of people on the way. It was a long journey but saved a lot of money on a taxi so was worth it.
When we arrived I was glad to see the boat they use (wahaha boat) was nice and big. When embarking the boat the guys took our bags onto the boat and we stepped in downstairs where there was lots of seats for everyone as well as sitting upstairs. We arrived happily an hour and a half later.
I’m surprised the reviews aren’t better on TripAdvisor as the service for us was very good so I’d recommend!

Filled out the booking form online and quickly recieved a response from Ann confirming the booking.
Was asked to message the day before the trip with the hotel room number. Happily did this to be told they were full.
Luckily another more professional company was on hand to pick us up.
Useless company. Useless staff. Wouldn't dream of trusting their boat if they can't organise themselves.

Do NOT even think about choosing this company to get to the gili Islands!!!
the first contact was super quick, minutes after filling out the formular at the homepage Jay answerd .. we talked about the price including the transfer from and back to our Hotel and confirmed the pick up time: between 6:30 and 7:30 the driver should pick us up ... was again confirmed the day before ... so we got up early to be ready when the driver arrives at the earliest possibility 6:30 ... but nobody came ... at 7:45 we started to try getting contact to somebody ... but neither at the Telefon nor at WhatsApp or per Email we reached somebody ... at 8:30 we decided to go by Taxi to padangbai and look there for a boat!
Today (5 days after) i haven't heared anything from Jay answering my telefon calls, emails or WhatsApp messages!
It's your Holiday! ... pay the extra price for a more professional company .. we went then by ekajaya ... highly recomended .. big, fast and safe boats, well organizied!

I've taken the fast boat a couple times. I love the Gili and Lombok islands all are well worth the vacation time.

We hired the trip from nusa dua to the Gili Islands and we have always received a magnificent treatment. In addition, we forgot the mobile phone in the van and the next day they returned it. 100% recommended.

Pick up should have picked us up at 6:30-7:00, but it never came. So they send us a shuttle for two hours later which came 20 minutes late. Then arrived in the harbour and the boat was also 1 hour to late...

I made a trip from Bali to Gili Trawangan with this company. I definitely don’t recommend it. Really bad and messy. Also, we came back today and they were supposed to drop us in our hotel. First, the driver was driving really crazy, almost hit a truck, we all were scared about the situation. Secondly, they just dropped us (all people in the tour) in a place we didn’t know where it was, they explained it was a central station and that we had to take taxi from there. When we asked that we payed to be dropped off in our hotel they Just didn’t care about it. In total, not a good experience. Further more, they were late.

This was a horrible experience from start to finish. We travelled from Ubud to Gili T. Here’s why:
1. We were told by Erol that pick up would be between 6-6:30am. So we waited outside our accomodation at 6am. They did not show up at till 8am. We waited two hours and tried contacting them but Erol had no information about when our driver would get to us. The response we got was “just wait” “be patient”. It was terrible customer service.
2. When we got to Padang Bai harbour, the boat company asked us for a ticket and we had no ticket so they had to make us a new one. Everyone else had been given a ticket by the agency they booked from.
3. Erol told us that the last departing boat from Gili T to Padang Bai harbour was at 3pm. We went to the office at Gili T at 12pm to confirm and were told the last boat ALREADY LEFT and to come back tomorrow. The guy then took 600k ($60AUD) from us to send us back on an awful boat that made us sea sick. When we got back to Padang Bai we found out that this was a fraud and luckily got our money back from the Wahana company.
However, none of this would have occurred if this company had given us the correct information from the beginning. Not worth the stress on a holiday. Would 100% pay a few more dollars and not go through this situation.
