Either there for meal, few drinks or watching planes land or depart, no better place in Bali.
Kids playing on the beach whilst parents have a beer or two.
Does life get any better?
I'm a big fan of the smaller restaurants on the beach...More
Such a beautiful clean beach with many Restaurants to cater to you for snacks or dining on the beach. Lots of little shops but not over done. Beach is child friendly and very pretty with markets near by
A great spot to sit and have a meal on the beach whilst watching a fantastic sunset. You can also see planes coming into land at Kuta. Various choices from corn on the cob over coals from the beach cart to your selection of live...More
Jimbaran is a beautiful bay with fine sand. Went in November and the weather was still dry and sunny. Sand is a little black - not sure if normal or not? But beach itself is relatively clean. Lots of restaurants on the bay. Also small...More
The sunset makes the bay worth a visit. Depending on time of year and location on the beach you will see the sun set over the water or the land peninsula. There are countless restaurants up and down the beach and a lot of people...More
Beautiful bay with a bend which gives a great scenery. Downside also here is the amount of plastics you’ll find on the beach. Locals don’t seem to care all that much since you’ll find little plastics in their offerings as well.
Luckily there is hope...More
This beach has majestic sunset. We arrived early at around 5pm, the sun was burning hot. However we got the best table by the beach at Bali Sea Cafe. For some reasons, the next door cafe had more crowds and more lively. Eventually, there were...More
My daughter turns 19 while we are in Bali and would like somewhere special to eat without blowing the budget. Already been told about Jimbaran Bay seafood but if the wealth of knowledge on here can think of anything a little more special would appreciate the feed back.

Some clarity on the budget might be helpful :) Consider Un's or Metis in Kuta, Kayu Manis in Sanur or for more upmarket, Kupu-kupu in Ubud
FS Jimbaran Bay overlooks the airport???! (13 Replies)
I have learnt that all the villas overlook the airport, so I guess you watch planes flying in all day...?? I had booked my first 3 nights of honeymoon there, the villas look lovely, but think I will have to change.....since I am supposed to be on a remote tropical island away from it all !!! Does anyone know bad is the proximity to the airport and can you see planes? Thanks!

Also is doing the three...More

I think you need to take a closer look at a map of Bali and then rethink your days. For instance, Day 4: Tanah Lot; Taman Ayun; Git Git; Lovina is not sensible. Likewise, the idea of spending 2 days on the Gilis when you only have nine days in total is pushing it. You'll lose the better part of a day on either side travelling there and back. Personally I don't think it's worth it. Re: Ubud, when you say 'Ubud market, lunch overlooking rice terraces', be aware that the two are not...More
