Amazing!! What a nice surprise this hotel is a stone’s throw from the busy streets, we enter this space and… no more noise
Magnificent property in lush nature,
The decoration of the hotel and the rooms is magnificent
The rooms are large as well as the bathroom (bath, shower, bathrobes)
The rooms are distributed around different relaxation areas with swimming pools (3)
Very good restaurant with choice
Magnificent hotel, far from what one might imagine! A suspended moment that we do not regret in any way

Our trip to the spa was unexpected, we stayed at the Intercontinental and found the spa there expensive with slightly grotty treatment rooms. I ended up looking on Tripadvisor for a spa around the hotel. The reviews were encouraging for this one and the fact that it was a 90 seconds away from the gate of the hotel made it a winner. I have to say, we were not disappointed. The ladies at the spa were lovely and the Balinese massage was great. The decor was a bit excessive and over the top for me but once I was on the massage bed it did not matter at all. We paid about half of what the Intercon would have charged us.
What I liked - the staff and the prices
What I did not like - the towels and bed smelt a bit musty and the lighting in the room was too bright at the end of the massage.

This location actually has a lot of reviews if you read through the Intercontinental Bali resort reviews both on TA and other websites reviewing the Intercontinental Bali in Jimbaran, because it is across the street from the resort, which is how I came to find it. You enter through a arched doorway at the back of the parking lot on the side of the Villa Balquisse, but once you do you are in a courtyard garden for the Villa. The Spa is to one side there is also a beautiful pool which you can spend the day at for an additional charge if you would like. There is seating in the courtyard if you wanted to relax and eat there from their restaurant as well. I was met by very friendly staff and ushered into their spa, which is very beautifully decorated, with a very tranquil feel with all the things one wants in a spa, the ambient music, the smell of delicious aromas, and then treated to what I didn't know then, but have now learned is the traditional Balinese massage experience. This includes washing your feet before your treatment, then the massage package of your choice and after you have washed (at this location they offer a private shower) you are then treated to tea and a snack. I tried the traditional Balinese Lulur treatment and massage which I enjoyed very much. Of the two different spa experiences I had in Bali this was my favorite, partly because it was my first, the other was in Ubud, but this spa had a better overall ambiance, the massages were equally good however. I look forward to returning on my next trip coming up soon! If you are staying at the Intercontinental (or close by) this spa is much cheaper then at the resort, but still a happy indulgence!

My wife and had 2 of there royal treatments, which for myself included a massage, facial and flower bath. My wife's had a pedicure instead of a facial.
My massage was good, very firm and invigorating, the facial was great ( I have never had one before but felt like trying one). The flower bath was a waste of time and money.
I found the cleanliness of the spa to be lacking, the headrest on the massage table did not have a cover, so I was put off by that. My wife's pedicure was also a bit unsettling, my wife felt that the instruments were not clean.
The place is in a nice setting, but could use a facelift. It's is a midrange spa price wise , so perhaps one should spend more for the finer experience.
Overall, I would go back, just for the massage and facial, and ask for a clean towel for my face during the massage.

The trip to Henna Spa was an unexpected one... After a session of sunbathing in a private beach near Nusa Dua, I badly need a shower to get rid of the sands which got in uncomfortably underneath my bikini... Our tour driver from Harmony Hotel brought us here after asking our preferences for a spa...

Henna Spa is the in-house spa of Villa Balquisse, one of the beautiful villa in Jimbaran... When I saw the signage "Villa" and the premises of Villa Balquisse itself, I thought the spa would cost me a bomb... I was totally wrong... For a considerably posh place, not only that we paid a reasonable price but we got great service too... In my country, a spa session in a 5-star hotel with certified therapist would cost the same price as my plane ticket to Bali...

The receptionist at Henna Spa was very friendly and attentive to our queries... She recommended a few different spa treatment according to what we requested... After we picked our choice of treatment, I told her that I wanted to take a shower first as I did not think that it was right to start my treatment when I had sand all over... Some spas in a 5-stars hotel would frown upon such statement, but this lady was sweet enough to let me use one of their private shower...

I loved the ambience of the spa... It looked so private with a classy touch... Had their Mahogany treatment - 2hr spa of foot soak, massage and hair creme bath... The therapist did such a great job that I fell asleep during the massage... The treatment felt so relaxing and luxurious... My friends also had a wonderful time too...

I forgot the name of my therapist but I guess all of them are good with their job... Henna Spa is my mini nirvana in Jimbaran... I will be back definitely...

Henna Spa is situated in the wonderful quite gardens of Villa Ballaquise where we also stayed.
The Spa is spacious, quiet and beautifully decorated in balinese style. There is a wide range of packages to choose from. I recommend the 120 min package which started with a foot bath than a 75 min body massage with oil. After that followed by a 40 min body scrub. My skin felt so smooth and gentle afterwards. I also added a facial afterwards which was also great. A wide range of lotions, creams and face masques was used. It was a great experience for a really fair price. Come and indulge into this great spa! It is pure relaxation. It was a perfect end to my holiday in Bali!
Thanks to the wonderful staff as well.

Visited for a massage on a day when I wasn't feeling very well. The therapist (Kominga?) was excellent, she gave the best massage, I have had in a long time. She checked to make sure she was applying the right amount of pressure and I came away feeling tons better as a result. The actual spa is nicely decorated, has basic essentials, serene music and comfortable. You are asked to choose your own oil scent and on finishing offered a tea, leaving you feeling relaxed and revived. The cost was also inexpensive. The building is also set within the grounds of a nice hotel, with friendly staff. Unfortunately, we wasn't able to stay any longer, however, I would certainly revisit both the spa and the hotel restaurant to get the full wonderful experience.

Relaxing balinese massage perfectly executed. You choose the scent of your oil massage and a tea is offered to you at the end.

Had a wonderful massage in a beautiful setting. I paid $26 (Australian) for an hour. Very reasonable for Jimbaran considering all the spas in the area are either in resorts and have Australian prices, or really basic bargain basement type ones.

If u don't want to spend tons of money for massage this is your choice. Great value for money and great massage and atmosphere. But don't take two hours, one is more then enough. They accept credit cards. This is overall best deal you can get around on massage.
