Fun, Fun, Fun!!! A great day for all ages with excellent staff who speak awesome English. Made (Areyano) is so passionate and knowledgeable about his country and culture. The bike ride is 90% downhill and a couple of hills that challenge some but the car follows at all times if you need it. Lunch made by Komang (Yoga the owner's... More

Made ( pronounced mardi) met us at 7am sharp at our hotel ( he was actually early) . He was an excellent tour guide, and despite the travel time he entertained and educated us all ( including 7 and 9 year old with I spy) on Balinese culture, language and cuisine. The initial 2 hour drive was handled by a... More

My partner and I did a bike tour through the balinese countryside and it was great! The guide was super nice and explain us lots of balinese colture aspects. We had breakfast with a stunning view of the vulcano and then off the rice fields, temples and so on. After the tour we had lunch and the food was truly... More

My family, including 8 and 6 year old, were looking to experience a bit more of Bali outside of Kuta. This was a perfect family adventure. Bus ride to coffee plantation (which was better than a cynical father thought it would be). Then continue up to Volcano. Now don't be mislead. Seeing the Volcano is from a distance more of... More

This tour was recommended to us by a friend and it was such a great tip! Value for money is excellent. Sindu our tour guide was brilliant and full of energy. Cycling through the rice fields and villages was an amazing experience topped off by a DELICIOUS home cooked lunch and then some teaching in the school! We highly recommend

We enjoyed our full day with Halo. Made was our guide, and his enthusiasm and love for Bali was highly evident. We spent approximately 2.5 hours of the day on the bikes. Little pedalling was required and mostly braking and coasting was needed. The meal back at their compound was delightful and the place was lovely. We met Yogi, his... More

We wanted to do something different and get out of the city area. We had a group of 10, 6 kids and 4 adults. Pick up from our hotel and headed to Ubud . Our tour guide was full of information. Stopped at a coffee plantation and then banana pancakes. The weather was freezing cold, thought I should of taken... More

My husband and I and two friends relished our day with the lovely people from Halo Bike. We didn't know much about the tour beforehand as another friend had booked it for us. All we knew was that it was run by members of the one extended family and that is initially why their tour was selected above others. Wayan... More

Really enjoyed a full day of activities from breakfast with a view, to understanding the local economy followed by a pretty cruisey 2 hour ride through the countryside then a great lunch and time at the school helping the kids learn English. Very fulfilling day, great to support a community trying to make a difference

A great family experience. Safe, well supervised riding by a safety conscious team. A tour staff member at front and rear of group to ensure safety. Well maintained bike and helmets provided. Educational commentary about the traditional communal water management system associated with Balinese rice farming. Plus our tour host, Made, had personality, humour and style! Finally, the lunch served... More
