This is a small mark held every Sunday along the beach at the Mecure hotel. Good to have a look around if you're nearby, but much the same as everything else for sale around Sanur.

We enjoyed getting some lunch from the food stalls and eating on the beach.

We visited this market already many times as a family and it is always a pleasure to see so many local artisans, cooks, locals and expats celebrating a relaxed Sunday. The footstalls offer local dishes like nasi goreng, mie goreng bud also a german sausage can be tried. After strolling the market you can go for a swim in the ocean and relax in the shadow of the big trees there or you can try some water sports. There is also a new regular beach restaurant called "Genius Cafe- Home to the Entrepreneur Beach Club" with excellent WiFi, healthy food, plant based drinks and inspiring social events.

More a food based market with a few handmade artisan stalls. Big shoutout to Oceanbellz and their beautiful screenprinted purses and bags. The acoustic trio were awesome and provided a fabulous vibe!

It's very convenient to be here on Sunday. Just a few meters from the beach and has wide parking place for almost 50 cars can be parked. By well maintained green grass on the ground where the kids may play safely, parents may spend all day with shopping and relaxing. Very recommended !

Our hotel offered this as an evening activity. Our guide showed us around (5 mins) & once finished suggested we stay away from the food vendors as it would make us sick. Not very reassuring! Needless to say we dined elsewhere.

I have a feeling that you were at a different market, since your post was on the 25th September, and our market is only once a month, and was on the 27th September. Also you mentioned it was an evening activity, and our market is not open in the evening. It is a day time event which is open from 10am - 6pm. You also said there were only a few stalls - our market has approx 60 vendors. We have a range of different food options (approx 20 food stalls) offering western and indonesian cuisines. All food is very clean and safe to eat! And the rest of the stalls offer a range of fashion, accessories, recycled goods, home ware, crafts, kids activities, bouncy castle, face painting etc. We are located on the beach front at the Mercure Resort Sanur, Jalan Mertasari. We hope you will be able to visit us at our next market 25th October, and feel certain that you will enjoy our market and leave us a positive review! Many thanks.

When I heard about this Sunday morning activity, I was thrilled with thoughts about good bargains but I was wrong. There were only a couple of clothing stalls with little variety, a silver and gem stall and the items were expensive, a food stall busy with some western dishes and 2 stalls with fresh local herbs and greens. Just a brisk walk of less than 5 minutes, i was out to the streets enjoying the variety of stalls selling more interesting wares and getting better choices and bargains!

I think you are writing a review for the wrong market, since our market has approx 60 vendors, I don't think you would have been finished within 5 minutes! You mentioned there was only 1 food stall. Well we have a food area of approx 20 food vendors, selling a range of delicious food from western to local. The other 40 vendors, are offering a range of jewellery, fashion, accessories, recycled goods, home ware, crafts, ice cream, kids activities, bouncy castle and face painting. We are a monthly market, open on the last Sunday of each month, from 10am - 6pm, on the beach front at Mercure Resort Sanur, Jalan Mertasari. We invite you to come to our next market on 25th October 2015 and we feel certain you will leave us a positive review! Many thanks.

This is a nice local market at the bottom of Hotel Mercure garden next to the beach. It has a range of stalls selling local products, together with an area providing a range of food. There is also an area where a number of live shows are performed; when we were there they were doing a Balinese dance. The products were very similar to those available in the various shops around Sanur, and the prices much the same as well.
This is not on the must see and do list for Sanur, but certainly a nice way to spend a couple of hours if you are there the last Sunday of the month. The location is great, and to wander around and have a bite to eat is a pleasant way to fill the time.

This is a nice local market held on the last Sunday of the month at the bottom of the garden of The Mercure Hotel in Sanur, where it meets the beach. There are stalls selling local goods, an area providing meals and a stage. When we were there they were performing a Balinese dance.
The products on sale are much the same as can be found in the shops in Sanur, and at much the same prices. There is a good range of food which is pleasant.
This is not on your must do list if you are in Sanur for a short time, but a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours if you are there on the last sunday.

Very happy to visit these eco markets, and seeing the difference the locals are making with reducing their plastic use. It seems Bali is really turning a corner! There were some great stalls with local made products (definitely different to the usual markets). We visited as a family and really enjoyed the foods stalls, the live music, and the shopping choices :)

Well just want to know, but not for the second time. Not much to see, nor the food stall. A bit disappointing.
