Our food tour with A Chef's Tour was absolutely amazing! Bali Bites is a must do for anyone visiting Bali. It gives you a taste of what real Balinese food is and it shows you where the locals eat. Some of these shops have been open for 40+ years serving the community. Our guide (Rasyid) was great and his knowledge of all of the places and dishes was great.

Booked this tour to experience Bali outside of the touristy areas and try Indonesian food and was not disappointed. The food choice was delicious and wide ranging and included explanations of what everything was and how its made. A highlight was the Betutu chicken cooked for 6 hours especially for us and wandering around the local market. Would recommend for anyone wanting to try Indonesian food outside of the tourist hot spots 😋

What a great experience! I loved taking food tours in every city I am in, and when I saw this tour I knew I had to book it. And surely our guide Rasiyd gave us an awesome food tour. The Main Course they serve is just incredible, with Ketut who is a character to be remembered. Salut to the Chef's tour team for this amazing experience

I had an amazing experience while we did this tour. It wasn't our first time in Bali. But still, it was a new experience for me. The foods, especially for their main attraction, the Betoto chicken was 11/10. The friendly and helpful guide that could be a "super hero" while we crossed the roads.
A chef's tour is a must things to do while in Bali, don't ever miss it.

I ended up being the only person who booked on the tour and it was a lovely solo/private experience with the guide! My guide - I think his name was Raysid? - was very knowledgeable and it was fun talking with him and hearing his stories of his time in Bali.

I came hungry but it wasn’t enough because I was so stuffed. You need to come starving in order to enjoy EVERYTHING because I skipped trying the large chicken satay in the night market area in order to save room for dessert. The food - freaking DELICIOUS from the fried banana on the street (not too greasy, not too sweet) all the way to the very end. I am still thinking about the chicken…some of the best chicken I’ve ever had and I’m not even exaggerating. I was able to take the rest back to the hotel to share with my parents, my mom ate half of it herself. And the chocolate cheese combination on the dessert…different combo, but it WORKS and now I will be doing that at home with my mochi/rice cake based desserts. This was such a unique experience of a food tour walking through the old town, trying out the good local spots and yapping with my guide, and walking through the bustling marketplace. Definitely will recommend this to my friends visiting and try out a chef’s tour in the other countries.

I enjoyed trying a wide variety of local foods, most of which I’d never even heard of. It was a nice change of pace to walk Denpasar on foot, and such a unique experience to visit a local market. My guide was nice and he taught me a lot about the local culture. Definitely the best food tour in Bali for an authentic culture immersion.
