I got recommended by a fellow friend who engaged Suker's services and boy were we pleased! Our enquiries were replied quick and efficiently and it really helped that he was very knowledgable and fluent in English. Because it was the new year period, traffic was terrible but Suker made it in time (swifting through the small lanes/ unconventional routes) to bring us to see the sunset ! Hes the man! Thank you Suker, we will definately see u again and recommend more friends. All the best :)

Although it was just a day trip, both Jason & I made good friends with Komang - our guide for the day. He was very understanding and also kept telling u that it was "our time". We get to decide what we like to eat and what we want to see. He then suggested if the places we want to go are close by. He will advise accordingly- so we can just depend on him.
He knew we wanted to try local Balinese food and so he brought us to the local "warung" for Nasi Campur for lunch and as for dinner he brought us to try Nasi Padang.
To us, it was a very comfortable trip as the 3 of us travelled in the car like a family. We chatted and sang songs as well. This is more than just hiring a guide to bring us around in Bali but we have found a new friend as well.
Good job Komang, we will definitely look forward to having you to go trips with us again in future and will recommend you to other friends.

this is our first time in Bali (famikly of four), based on tripadvisor recommendation, we hired Nyoman Gede Mahayuna for 1 day tour - he provided excellent service, I'd recommend him to anyone, espeically family. Nyoman was puntual, honest, knowledgeable, and most of all caring. we left Sanur hotel on time, went to Elephant Safari park for a ride on elephants (most enjoyable), then to rice fields at Tegallalang (lunch facing the rice fields in the rain - cannot ask for better view and location), volcano, elephant cave, monkey forest, finally had crispy duck dinner at Bebek Tepi Sawah. We went way over our 10 hours due to traffic, and reroute, Nyoman was very gracious,insisted what I offered to pay was too much, only took what he thoguht was fair - this is a man with integrity.
Thank you, Nyoman, for showing our family a great time, and thanks for driving us through the back roads to show us what a beautiful place Bali is.

I gave it a rating of 1/5, but in reality it should be 0/5, since we never got to actually enjoy this activity.
I came to Bali with my wife on my honeymoon, and booked this tour around Ubud.
The guide was meant to come pick us up at the hotel at 08:30. We were there from 08:20, and waited until 9:30, for MORE THAN AN HOUR. The phone numbers that were provided in my reservation were useless as no one would pick up no matter how many times I called. In the end, the guide didn't show up at all.
We had to hurriedly book a private taxi for the whole day, which turned out to be more expensive than the tour, and without any guidance/English explanations about the sites visited. Let alone the fact that we wasted an hour for nothing. I'm going to file a claim to Trip Advisor and I expect a full refund for this activity. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TOUR. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.

Based on good trip advisor reviews, my wife and I booked a private guide/driver for my first visit to Bali from this Company prior to arriving. The owner Mr.Nyoman emailed me promptly quoting the price for "guiding and driving by one of the expert guides in necessary Balinese dress " in a comfortable air conditioned vehicle. The names of the licensed guides viz Nyoman/Yogi/Agung Johnny were also mentioned in the email.
I accepted the quoted price and other terms. This is what we got:
1) Driver?Guide (?) - None of the above "experts" turned up! Mr Nyoman did not call or email us either. Instead, a very pleasant young man with limited English named Dwi turned up at our Hotel (St Regis) to take us around in a very small (Toyota Avanza) and less than clean car with someone's boarding pass/hotel confirmation dating back to February stuffed in the back seat pockets. It appeared from the tag hanging around the steering column ( I was sitting in the front seat) that the car was just rented. Driving around South Bali in this car was not what we could call " comfortable ".
2) Dwi - a wonderful chap who admitted that he was not a licensed guide but doing this part time apparently to pay for his University education. Apparently in Bali, licensed guides must wear a special "Traditional Dress and Head Gear" and Dwi not being a guide could not wear one escorting visitors. Mr Nyoman had engaged him to drive and " guide"us for the two days! Dwi was an excellent driver, very polite and eager to please. His knowledge of Balinese History was somewhat inadequate but he could tell us many stories about the Bali society which was very interesting. We liked Dwi and that was the only reason why we did not cancel the " private tour " on the second day, as our Hotel staff urged us to do.
However, I consider Mr Nyoman and Bali Private tours unreliable. We will return to the wonderful island of Bali with friends soon but will not consider doing business with Bali Private Tours. Buyers beware!

Thank you very much for your feedback. We apologize that we did not meet your expectation. We we always do our best to make sure that your trip to Bali memorable one. We alsways monitor the guide just to make sure that you are enjoying the trip with us.
Regarding your complain with the vehicle we drove during the tour when we guided you in Bali, it was the standard vehicle that mostly the agent drive for thier client in Bali. We drove double blowers air conditioned Toyota Avanza 2010. We considered that was enough only to acomodate two of you. We realised that you were staying at one of the most expesive hotels in Bali where they drive BMW to pick you up at the airport. Our service cost you 60 US$ / day. It means that we only can drive Toyota Avanza or Susuki AVP. Most of our client were happy with the vehicle we drive. The guide was young. He is 25 years old. We apologize that he did not meet your expectation. He need to learn more how to take care our Indian client. He is doing very well when he guide our westeners client and our Chinese client.
We really apriciated your feedback and still happy to provide you free charge of service if you ever visited Bali again.

After reading the good reviews on tripadvisor we called and asked Balit Nyoman for a customized guided tour in German language, around Ubud two days before the planned tour. He agreed for a price of 60$.
At night before the tour we got a phone call from Nyoman that he has no time for us. So we had a longer discussion and finally we found the solution of a tour with an english speaking guide what shouldn't be a problem for us. Nevertheless we had no other possibility because it was our only chance to get a tour before leaving Ubud. In the morning a colleague of Nyoman was coming and told us that he is only a driver and cannot give us any guiding information. So we had to call once again and discuss about the price. We agreed for 43$.
After the day we had made it to all our wished places but without any guiding explanations or any help. For example we went to mother temple Besakih where local tour guides forced us to pay for entrance fee and guiding during our driver were standing next to us. Afterwards we read in Lonely Planet that there is no fee or guiding necessary at Besakih. At least this little Information would have been nice to know from a local "driver" even he spoke English not as bad as we thought in the morning.
In summary there was a huge gap between promise and reality. They tell you everytime "yes, we can arrange that", but in the end we had all the time troubles, discussions and not kept promises.

knowledgeable, but neglected to tell me i would be riding a motor scooter and non power boat to visit creepy graveyard. just got there and was told this is the way we were going. i am a 67 yr old slightly disabled woman, it was inappropriate, but was only given the opportunity at the point of no return. so therefore i cannot give this tour a high rating. the guide wore the dirty shirt, and brought me to a disgusting restaurant called lakeside. in asia if the rice is inedible you know the food is bad. i have traveled a lot and appreciate the truth. the guide also was not able to take pictures i would not recommend this guide service.

Service is good above all he is honest and will do the best to make the trip memorable. If you are looking for a lively guide willing to share his local knowledge and Bali custom he will be right person.

We booked Goes De for a full day Ubud tour and it was perfect! Lets begin with him as a person...knowledgeable, kind, funny and charismatic! He is very accomodative to what you want to see, while including the major highlights.
Our pick up at our hotel was timely at 8:30am. We did not have much time in Ubud, but he was able to get us to see a classic Barong Dance, took us to a Celuk Village, where I splurged on some beautiful silver jewelry. Afterwards, we were taken to beautiful Tegenungan Waterfall! A must see! We only had one day and were really wanting to do Bali Swing, which is not on the itinerary, but he made it happen! At no point do you feel rushed or that you didnt spend enough time at each location. At Bali Swing we had lunch and enjoyed! We then moved onto Monkey Forest, unique experience and so much fun! We ended our day with an unforgettable visit to Tegallalang Rice Terrace! Goes De also knew the best spots to take pictures and was mire than willing to take our pictures for us! We had an amazing time in Ubud, thanks to Goes De. If ever needing someone to take you around Bali, he is the go-to!

My daughter and I spent two full days visiting Bali with our guide Tude and we were delighted with his kindness and knowledge. We couldn't have asked for a better person to introduce us to all the beauties that Bali has to offer.
He showed us everything we wanted to see, and more! He answered all our questions (which were many) and even when we were stuck in heavy traffic (unfortunately, a common thing in August) he was always always always smiling!
We took the tour of the Temples and also the Ubud tour and wish we had done at least two more tours during our stay in Paradise.
I cannot recommend this company enough. If you want to see Bali and leave with a smile in your heart, please use them and ask for Tude. He is absolutely fantastic!

We are free easy. Day trip to Ubud one day, kintamani and barong one day, kecak show one evening ONLY...others only makan and airport pickup.
