Firstly, we need to get the name right. This is a bird sanctuary extending from Kempty Fall in the North to Doodhli Village in the south, Mussoorie in the east and the Yamuna river in the west.

Nothing sort of activity or fun is found here. Just go and round about the place. Place is properly maintained.

Though its a beautiful drive, a little deviation from kempty falls route, its not really worth a visit. there's practically nothing there. you wont be spotting any animal or birds except some langoors & butterflies. Don't waste ur time & money.

This is not a strenuous hike but you'll find it so rewarding with views of Bandar Punch, the valleys and villages on the Yamuna River side, view of Sir Everett's home, and small shrine at the top. The path is beautiful among oaks mostly, you might hear a barking deer as we did, and may spy some leopard scat (or more!)

We loved our day at Benog. It is a wonderful place for birdwatching. We could see some beautiful Himalayan Birds. The walk is quite pleasant and the landscape is great.
