I went on a trek with my wife to Chopta, tungnath and Chandrashila peak followed by deoria tal and finally to Dayara Bugiyal, and it turned out to be an experience of lifetime.
Choosing Bayberry adventure was a no brainer because the founders of bayberry adventure are passionate trekkers themselves and everyone on their team share the same passion of trekking. The founders and team members have personally undertaken all of these trek which they organise and hence have immense experience and knowledge in the matter.
The customized itinerary was curated by the team in such a manner that it catered for all our requirements while keeping in mind our fitness level.
what's more, there was also a back up plan and the weather predictions were also factored in.we went trekking in last week of December and with careful planning and organising the trek well., we could complete our trek successfully and immensely enjoyed it.
Once the planning was done, the team took extra pain and effort to guide us in choosing the right equipment and gear for the trek including the best places to procure the same. this really helped us a lot in the trek.
Then there was guidance to improve our fitness level.
coming to the trek, the vehicle provided was a brand new one and driver was an expert who knew the routes like the back of his hand who drove us safely and was extremely courteous.
our stay was planned at one of the best location and the hospitality was amazing. Food served during the trek was local cuisine as requested by us and trust me, though I travel a lot., it was one of the best food I ever had.
We had extremely experienced guides during the trek who would brief us prior and guide us and take us along at a pace suiting our fitness level. This was the benefit of personalised and customized tour planned so meticulously. The organisers would keep in touch with the guide during the trek and the further trek was planned based on our current status and weather etc.
we came across other trekking groups and we could tell the difference.
Bayberry adventure is an environment friendly team which guides it's guests to minimize the human footprint during the trek and they make all efforts to give employment opportunity to the locals.
I wouldn't be posting some snaps of the trek subsequently.
looking forward to trekking with them again.
please feel free to ask me for any inputs that you may require.
I wish bayberry team a great success in their endeavours and hope they continue to give wonderful memories to all their guests and continue giving employment opportunities to the locals.

I’m just back from an experience of a lifetime and writing this review from the comfort of my home.
While I do enjoy being back with everything familiar and comfortable, the last few days as I undertook the Valley of Flowers Trek has been an unforgettable experience and really pushed me out of my comfort zone. Being someone who gets excited every time I see a bouquet of flowers, experiencing the Valley of Flowers has been on my bucket list for a while. However, little did I anticipate that the Journey to the valley would be as exciting as being in the Valley itself.
Thanks to Bayberry Adventures we were given a detailed itinerary and very clear information on what we could expect and what not to expect while on the trek. Multiple calls were held with the participants to go through details of the schedule, physical conditioning we would need, what we needed to carry -all to help us prepare both physically and mentally for the trek. Not only that, all our doubts and concerns were put to rest by our trek leader Kiran and Col. Asheesh who patiently explained the situation on ground and how safety was their priority at all times.
The accommodation @ the Village Connection homestay was comfortable and enjoyable with big airy rooms and brilliant views of the mountain peaks. The gurgling sounds of the stream next to the property added to the beauty. While the stay at Ghangria was more basic, there are very limited options around and they all look the same. The place is good enough to crash after a tiring day of trekking. The warm service of the staff who catered to our every need, more than made up for what the place lacked in ambience.
The Food throughout the stay was good and though simple was just what we needed to keep up our energy levels. Special inclusions of local delicacies and rhododendron juice just lifted our spirits.
A big shout out to our Trek Leader Kiran Chand, who apart from being highly experienced and knowledgeable was ever present with us, taking care of the group and encouraging us along the way with his many stories. Bhuvanesh was equally competent with his knowledge of flowers and always there to lend a helping hand!
This is the sort of experience, people with a positive attitude and an adventurous spirit would enjoy. We were lucky to have a wonderful group who supported each other and strangers became friends over the 6 days of the trek. The stark beauty of nature, the majestic and mystic mountains, the gushing rivers, the stunning flowers will be something we can never forget, but the true beauty of the trek was having done it with this lovely bunch of people. Truly memories that last.
Thanks to Bayberry adventures and the group for having made this such a wonderful experience.

Recently did a Nagtibba Trek with stay at Goat Village with Bayberry adventures. It was a short and sweet break. As always the management, support and logistics by the team bayberry is spot on. I love the way the preparation starts way before the actual trek with tailor made exercise schedule for the trek. As the saying goes "The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war". The more you prepare for the trek, the less you huff & puff and the more you enjoy the amazing natural beauty it has to offer. The stay at goat village was absolutely fantastic. The cottages are sustainable, clean, and built with pahadi architecture. They offer most beautiful panoramic vistas of the Shivalik Himalayan range. The dining cottage also doubles up as a greenhouse for vegetables like cauliflower, tomatoes, brinjal etc. If you are not in a mood for a trek you can just relax with some board games provided in the dining cottage or cozy up with a nice book. The team at goat village is always on the toes with their smiling faces and warm hospitality. They provide you with delicious local food 3 times a day. We also enjoyed activities like sunset meditation, antakshari @ bonfire. The trek takes you through dense oak forest, to take away all your stress and recharge your batteries. The trek guides not only supported with assistance for climbing or descent and encouragement for those struggling with the climb but made the trek way more interesting with stories about the temple and from local folklore.
I would definitely recommend it to whoever wants a quick gateway from everyday hustle bustle of the city and recharge batteries in the lap of nature in a sustainable way with team bayberry & goat village.

Thank you Team Bayberry for memories that last !

Amongst the Himalayan Foliage
Nestles the beautiful Goat Village

Warm smiles and hot food
Served through hearts of gold
Prepares and sets the mood
To explore the peaks so old.

Together we go on the goat tracks
Stepping on rocks ,stones and pine
Breathless with packed food on our backs
Searching for the summit and to meet the Divine

At sunset we return with achy feet and tired soles
We descend heaven's seat as happy souls!

This is my second trek with Bayberry Adventures and they never fail to impress. Goat Village was on my mind ever since I saw the visuals on social media. I understood that real beauty cannot be captured through lenses. It is a beautiful, cozy place carved on the mountains of Nag Tibba which defines tranquility. The whole concept of sustainability and green tourism is at another level here and Bayberry takes it very serious. It does not take time to catch up with the contagious serenity and be part of this green environment. We met our perfect hosts who ensured everything is met with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. One gets to learn a lot about the local food ( they grow it themselves) ,people and culture through chats over chai and rotis. Local folklore shared around the bonfire enthralls city breeds like us . The trek to the summit through the dense forest and beautiful views was an experience etched forever. Our fabulous guides Kiran and Lucky ensured safety and experience is top notch.
Thank you Bayberry Adventures for being responsible towards our planet and people while making sure to make memories last!

Today self and my wife both senior citizens went on a Mehrauli walking tour with Bayberry Adventures . Believe me it was an out of the world experience. The guide Mr Arun is very well conversant with the historical background of the place. He covered all minute details and answered all the queries of the group.
A very well organized tour for which I must thank the organizers. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it and would recommend Bayberry adventures to anyone who wants to take a trip.
Best Wishes

Property - We stayed at the Goat Village for a few days in summer.
The location was exquisite (secluded, peaceful and clean) and the property is unique in its construction - which is mix of traditional architecture with modern amenities (especially the roofs that allow natural sunlight to come in).

Trek - We went on the Nag Tibba trek right till the summit which I would highly recommend as a reasonably easy/moderate trek for beginners with decent fitness. This can be completed in a day and you get to come back and sleep in your bed at the Goat Village. We also went to a shorter jungle trek right till a small waterfall and to some meadows near the property.

Overall it was a great experience away from the daily city hustle, heat and pollution.

We had an awesome trek to The Valley of flowers & Hemkund Sahib last week. The information & tips provided by Bayberry truly helped us in preparing for this adventure both physically & mentally. The entire team was super friendly & efficient making this a fabulous experience for all of us.

Given the constraints & limitations of accommodation options at these remote places, their setup at The Village Connection Homestay in Joshimat far exceeded our expectations with such a fabulous view, comfort & warm hospitality.

This review wouldn’t be complete without a special mention of our guide Kiran Chand who was not only keeping close tabs on the slightly slower trekkers but also keeping the entire group entertained:)

I did Valley of Flowers and Hemkund sahib trek with Bayberry adventures in Aug 2022. It was awesome experience. The accommodations were appropriate, safe and comfortable. The food was delicious with taste of local cuisine. The guides are very professional, passionate & knowledgeable. They not only preach responsible travel but also practice it with passion. This was exemplified in their small acts like saving a injured butterfly on the pony path, alerting travelers even though they were not from our group to the risks of sleeping at high altitude, picking trash dropped by others. They did regular health monitoring and suggested appropriate measures. Kiran & Bhuvaneshji's constant encouragement helped us complete the treks without ponies. They really took care of us and our safety like their own family. This is really appreciated as we were group of women traveling and were concerned about safety in unknown place. Can't thank Kiran enough for spiritual guidance. Our spiritual discussions on this trek have enriched my life and taken this trek to a whole new level. Got all around package of physical , mental and spiritual fitness and definitely made memories that last. Thanks team Bayberry !

My two children and I had an amazing experience during the Valley of Flowers (VoF) trek organized by Bayberry adventures. We joined the group at the last moment, and were somewhat unprepared – not knowing what to expect from this trek. Despite of our late entry, Asheesh and Kiran gave us a detailed overview of what to expect/not expect – and that truly helped! The stay at Joshimath base camp was surreal. The boutique resort we stayed in was in a very scenic location, giving us the first glimpse of the majestic mountains. heavy rains had damaged the trek, but Asheesh encouraged us to continue to Gangaria and complete the Hemkund Sahib trek first – till such time the weather clears and VoF trek is repaired. The rain gods supported our quest, and we completed both, VoF and Hemkund Sahib treks. Our guides – Bhuvnesh and Puran – were very helpful and knowledgeable, and we saw the Bharamkamal, the Blue Poppy, and numerous other flowers on our trek. Thank you, Bayberry, for memorable trek – can’t wait to embark on our next adventure!
