About Varanasi Boat Tours
Some say the majesty of the Ganges River is best appreciated as the sun is rising and setting. In the morning you can experience the red sun rising in the east, shining on pilgrims as they start their bathing rituals. In the evening you can experience Ganga Aarti, a gorgeous choreographed fire ritual at Main Ghat.

We booked our boat via one of our acquaintance. It roved to be a smart move, because they ensured that our boatman was there to greet us and that's surely the best deal in town. Yes, I'm talking about Sunil Bhaiyas smile, it made our trip a happy song. I can vouch for this unbelievable experience, people must visit and have a thorough conversation with sunil bhaiya🙏💜 Har har mahadev

A meeting with the owner Sunil bhaiya itself is a great feel.. A man never went to school and having so much knowledge about world, that's what he says he has earned from the ghats of Varanasi.. A go to man for morning or evening boat ride, also enjoy having walk in the galis of Varanasi with him.. He will take you to authentic and old Varanasi. The feel and connect with Kashi can be felt by having snacks from those road side tapris... He has a great team Of skilled boatmen with always a smile and helping nature.. Sunil bhaiya is a friend now, met him first in 2018 during my first solo trip... Just came back in sep this year again and he is the same sweet person with a Smile.. Thanks Sunil bhaiya for everything and for all efforts you take personally for making your guests stay and visit so beautiful... . High 5 for the work. ❤️ From a brother.. To all travellers around world, just visit him once you are in Varanasi.. You will relate to whatever I said.

I booked two boat tours (sunrise/sunset) and a walking tour. The boat tours were great, Sunil picked me up at my guest house. We made a sunset rowing boat tour along the ghats and saw the burning ghat and Ganga Aarti from the river. The next morning I did a sunrise motorboat tour which is great for photography, Sunil is able to maneuver the boat very quickly to whatever spot you want for great photos and the seeing the sunrise from the Ganges is amazing. I would definitely recommend the boat tours. After the sunrise boat tour I did a walking tour through the city with Sunil's cousin. The tour started off good and we walked along the Ghats and through the city, but halfway through the tour the guide took me to his 'Guru' which wanted to do an expensive reading. I politely refused and when we left the Guru's place the guide stopped explaining stuff. He arranged a priest to go with me into the temple (which wasn't disclosed with me). The priest's English was poor and afterwards he wanted a donation. The tour ended at the guide's apartment complex in the city centre which conveniently had a silk factory and shop which he wanted to show me. After making clear I really didn't want to buy any silk, the tour was over. All in all I would recommend a boat tour with Sunil, I wouldn't recommend a walkin tour with his cousin.
