Pancha Ganga Ghat is revered as the most sacred place of all Ghats in Varanasi. It is a clean place where one can have bath and dips and less crowded place. One can experience the tranquil divinity of Ma Ganga here than in many other ghats with milling crowds. This is the gate way to reach Lakshmi Narayan Mandir , Bindhu Madhava Mandhir Kala Bhairava Temple and of course here lives the Great THRILINGA SWAMY. The Samadhi of the Great Saint of the by gone centuries is here to shower the blessings and fulfill all your physical as well as metaphysical aspirations. The jeeva Samadhi of the great Monk is situated near pancha ganga ghat and you can visit the Samadhi Mandhir which is just 10 mts climb from the Ghat . Please dont forget to worship the mega huge Shiva Linga which Swami used to carry every day to the Ganga River to perform Abhishekam. And there is Maha Meru Si Chakra Shan Chakra and the Samadhi is in the basement. Take a few sticks of Agar Bathis light them in the samadhi and observe the peace of your lifetime descending on you. And more importantly you`ll find here the ONLY shrine for Pithamaha Bheeshma in the whole country. So while in Varanasi don`t forget to go to Pancha Ganga Ghat and Samdhi Mandhir of Thrilinga Swamy.

A peaceful place to see ganga in perfect half circle formation in daily routine days far from the hussle & bussle of festive season. baskets containing lit candles or diyas hanged on long bamboo poles during kartik months i.e 15 months before & after diwali presents a beautiful scene at ghat in the evening after sunset. One can get a picturesque view of sunrise from this ghat in morning. overall a calm place to think about yourself & your silence. You have to walk about 1 km to reach as lanes are narrow meant ony for walking or biking

We visited there early in the morning when it was rather empty and quiet. The name Panch suggest 5 and it is said that 5 streams meet here making it even more prominent.

Possibly because of the streams converging, the water is very clear and people take their dips with children swimming here during hot days.

There are two shiva temples next to the ghat and the King Panchkota had built a palatial building on top of the ghat now not in a good state. Lots of bamboo poles are tied around and there is a large amphi-theatre type seating.

Panchakota or Panchkota Ghat was built by the King of Panchkota, Bengal in the 19th century. Although, It has some historical relevance but spiritually has lesser relevance. King also constructed a palatial building on the top of the ghat and there are two Shiva temples adjacent to the building....

Important ghat..just like the ghats ..u find variety of people here .

Panchaganga Ghat is one of the important ghats in Varanasi. There are temples around. The Ghat is less crowded. Some poles with small baskets were placed on the river. At night, they are lighted and they look beautiful. People come here to pray, take bath, meditate. During festival months, the ghats get busy.

Panchganga Ghat was once the sacred confluence of 5 rivers. No more. It's busy in the morning, but settled from noon to evening. Nothing much going on here, except meditation. Quite hot in the sun, but good for a cooling dip in the river.

A great ghat to hang out. During pitrapaksha, there are these backets on poles, and if the overhead lights g out, the effect is quite lovely.
