The staf at the Yoga Education Training Society have lived in Varanasi since they were born. They know every spot of it and know where you'd love to go. They are extremely friendly and will make you feel comfortable while they give you insight on the city.

Varanasi is hard to understand without someone who knows how to get around. Luckily, the yoga education and training society offers affordable walking tours and arranges boat tours that can help reveal the beauty and spirituality of this wonderful city. One of the advantages is that because this is a social business, the profits go towards providing education for kids... More

I had a walking spiritual temple tour, accompaniment to the morning aarti, a boat ride at sunset with a view of the evening aarti, and was brought to a trustworthy ayurvedic doctor. I also had one-on-one yoga and cooking classes. All of this was on a "pay-as-you-wish" basis with donations going to the schools for less fortunate children. Highly recommend!

We practised on the roof a nice Hatha Yoga session. I come from Ashtanga background but I definitely enjoyed Amits class. 👍🏾

This is not only the residencial room, but also many types of experience we have. Most impressive thing was the activities about education for street children. Our experience in this space will turn into the donation for the children.

After walking through a street-labyrinth, we finally got to Somit's place. Everyone was extremely welcoming and tried to help us with everything. Somit's story is very nice, and you should definitely ask him about it. Unfortunately we couldn't try his yoga class as we were only there for 1 day. Food was really good, thanks to Chaina! (I'm not sure... More

He is one of the best volunteers helping kids and also tourist to visit to Varanasi. All donation based. No pressure how much you donate. Kids need lots of stationery( pen, pencils, books...) I could only donate some to... More
