Ganga Puja followed by Ganga Aarti is an ancient practise that has been immortalized here. Held every evening between 7 and 8pm it is a spectacle that simply cannot be missed if you are in Benaras.

We watched Ganga Aarti in the evening. We started from Assi Ghat and sailed through various ghats to reach Dashashwamedh and Rajendra Prasad Ghat. There we stayed in boat for watching Aarti. One should reach there between before 07:00 pm.
