It is an extremely beautiful and well-maintained park.

The grass cover is pretty healthy and there are variety of plants/trees in this park which must have been thoughtfully placed in groups so that they complement each other's beauty and freshness.

I belong to Delhi and was attending a wedding function in Lucknow, had one day to spend on Lucknow so chose this park to spend time in the morning and Bada Imambara in the afternoon.

Hired the electric vehicle also in the park, the guy took us to all parts of the park in about 30 minutes.

I am writing this review in Aug 2023 almost 10 months later, the time spent in this park is a very happy memory for me still.

This park is designed on the pattern of London's Hyde Park, and is vast and very green. There are excellent walking, jogging and cycling tracks inside. There are many water bodies too, and a grand statue of Janeshwar Mishra. The best park in Lucknow undoubtedly!

Hey there...This park is Asia's largest park.
You have to give whole day for complete tour of the park.
Night lighting and sounds I like the most and yeah I'll suggest if you are going to visit then must take cycle from gate number 4 and take a round of whole park.

One of the finest place in lucknow to spend your evening with your near and dear one's. The best park in Lucknow. It's so green you can see so many birds here. The atmosphere of the park is also good. There is car parking available here and if you're tired and can't walk too much or with an elderly person who can't walk then you can use the facility of their carts which are available in gate no. 2 and 3. Overall it's a really good park. This place become even more beautiful at the time of sun set. You can go and enjoy the beauty of this park if you want to be surrounded by nature!

Janeshwar Mishra park located in Gomti nagar is a relatively new attraction at Lucknow.
The moment one enters from its main gate (note there are few other entrances also)one is welcomed by Two WarTanks placed on either side on a platform (Souvenir of Indo Pak war).
After climbing a number of stairs and crossing the Admin .offices one lands on a huge verandah (an ideal place for pics..) from where one gets a panaromic view of the garden.
As you get down the stairs and move ahead one comes across a model of 'Gnat ' a jet fighter bringing back to the memory the glorious achievements of Indian Airforce.
Straight ahead as you tread on the pathway one reaches at the pedestal of the statue of the leader Janeshwar Mishra a respected figure of India.
As one crosses a small bridge one gets a good view of the vast waterbodies. In future one may expect Gondola rides and waterboats.
Another attraction is the Big National flag at one extreme end of the park best viewed from the adjacent flyover as one returns back towards Ambedkar Memorial.
This place is visited both by serious morning walkers and fun seers of all ages either solo or in groups.
Future plans in form of Food court ,parking place and entertainment rides are in offing.
