After our visit at Taj Mahal, we selected short visit to Agra Marble Emporium business where we learned the complex processes for inlaying precious stones and artwork used in the thousands and thousands of inlaid flowers and other artwork, into the Makarna Marble. We were able to view artisans performing the intricate processes that are still being handed down father to son…for 17 generations. Their store offers a large collection of beautiful examples of their craft. We bought a small but beautiful elephant with many inlays and a vase. The staff was patient and great!

Went to Agra Marble Emporium with some friends and had a great experience. Their demonstration of their products was entertaining and informative. For the beautiful pieces, the prices are very reasonable. Sonu helped me find the perfect piece for me wife. I would highly recommend.

We got our beautiful marble piece, but we did NOT get the Lazy Susan. They sent a stand by mistake. Hoping that they will fix this error.

We were taken to the Emporium as part of a broader Tour of the Taj Mahal and Red Fort, and found most of the items of excellent craftsmenship and quality.

We were particularly interested in a medium sized statue which after some negotiation we landed on a fair price with the owner and his team. Whilst still expensive, these items are of antique value.

Unfortunately, we had some shipping difficulties with regards to tariffs on import which we had to pay extra to clear customs- if purchasing items which will be shipped to your address ensure that these tariffs are covered in the settled price.

When our statue arrived, there was a defect in the product which was not there when we inspected the item in the store. After messaging their contact over WhatsApp and explaining the issue, after some investigation the owner assured me he will send through another similar statue only requiring the payment of shipment costs. Whilst this was irritating, he was clearly operating at a significant loss to ensure I was happy with purchased item. The replacement item was true to word defect-free and absolutely stunning. The shipping time from that point was very quick as they use express freight which was excellent.

I think so long as you are clear from the outset that this is a true antique store and prepared to follow up should anything go wrong, you can certainly purchase some truly beautiful items from the emporium. I think this addition to the many agra tours you can book via Tripadvisor is worthwhile, even despite the sales pressuring. The items may be expensive, but they are genuine and involve remarkable craftsmenship.

We hired "D.K. Car and Driver India" to take us from Delhi to Agra. Afterwards, they drove us (without asking) to Agra Marble Emporium where they put on a staged demonstration and sales pitch. It almost felt like a movie... they told us that the workers were ancestors of the people who built the Taj Mahal, kept referring to us as their friends, and after refusing to buy anything behind door #1 they opened door #2 with cheaper items. After refusing those they pulled out small Taj Mahal figures as a last effort, all while the tour guide was in the room watching us. I'm pointing this out because it was definitely a coordinated effort... the driver/guide/shop probably make most of their money through this scheme. It was a very high pressure and uncomfortable situation.

Agra marble is the best marble store in Agra.

Incredible visit to the Agra marble store after visiting Taj Mahal. There you can see directly the astonishing techniques and designs from the hand made marble pieces with a top quality. Additionally , we receive an outstanding service and demonstration from Adnan ( sales guy )during our visit. I got a beautiful marble piece from the store for my Agra remembrance. I really recommend to visit this store if you are in Agra .

Beautiful and professional. Can’t wait to go back !!”

The team at Agra Marble Emporium was incredibly professional and helpful. including the owner Raj kothari and his son Hareesh kothari. The story is a beautiful collection of the most incredible works. I purchased both ready made items and was able to Oder a table made to my exact specifications. Both table were shipped to me much faster then I expected and the packaging was incredible. There was no way these tables would have been damaged during shipping.

I highly recommend Agra marble emporium to anyone

We bought a beautiful marble table top and enjoyed learning about the cutting of the stones. Its an amazing art that we experienced. and Whoa! what an amazing salesman Adnan ( Addy ) is! Enjoyed our discussion with him at length. He has great knowledge about the stones and the art of cutting stones. His charming way of explaining each detail made the shopping real fun. If we had more time, we would have bought more. Great Indian salesman. Our product arrived via DHL with nominal fee and with great parking and care. Agra Marble Emporium did an awesome job with packing our product. We would make more purchases with Agra marble in our next visit.
