My wife and I are expecting and were looking to visit a beautiful place for a short relaxing holiday. We thought of visiting Agra and none of us had seen the beautiful Taj Mahal. We thought of doing a small photoshoot at the Taj. We did not have any contacts there so we first thought of approaching the hotel for a photographer. We were a little skeptical as we were not getting to see the photographer's previous work. After some searching we came across Harsh's instagram page. The pictures were amazing and we thought of speaking with him. He was courteous, understood the situation (my wife could not move around a lot) and he suggested we see the Taj in the morning as it won't be crowded and the sunrise makes it even more gorgeous than it is. He suggested us the outfits. He picked us up from our hotel (he was there before time), helped us with the tickets and get in with ease. He was extremely accommodating and helped us get the best pictures or rather memories. He shared several experiences from his life, how he started what he likes to do which helped us build a good rapport. Once the shoot was done he guided us through the history of the Taj and what makes it one of the best wonders of the World. What stood out for me was how considerate he was, he carried my wife's bag throughout the tour and was extremely careful about her during the shoot. He promptly shared the pictures before the day he promised and trust me the pictures are literally out of this World. Thank you Harsh. We highly recommend Harsh's services for people travelling to Agra. With Harsh, you might visit Agra once but you can revisit it innumerable times.

I was a bit sceptical and nervous about going to India as a solo female traveller but Harsh was a fantastic, knowledgeable tour guide who made sure everything went smoothly. I arrived in delhi at 2am but due to long queues in immigration i didnt manage to meet the driver until 6am ish! However, driver was amazing and stayed and waited for me while Harsh made sure everything was ok. Throughout my 3 days I felt very welcomed and comfortable and I'm amazed with the photos I've recieved from different angles of the Taj Mahal (we were even the first ones in the queue to visit the taj mahal!) Radisson hotel was superb. If you are a solo traveller and are thinking of doing this tour, I highly recommend. Send me a message if you have any questions or worried about anything! :) K x

I was truly blown away by every aspect of this tour! My girlfriend and I visited India for the first time this January. Not long before we left for India we decided to pay for a tour guide, thinking that the best part would be just having someone to drive us around. We were both pleasantly surprised when we realized the tour was so much more! It was incredible having tour guides to take our photos, teach us a lot about the history of the places we visited, and give us great advice on the best places to eat and shop in the cities we visited. All of the guides were incredibly kind, and generous with their time. One example of this kindness and generosity came after I realized that I had left my camera charger at home. In desperation I asked our guide if he knew where I could buy a replacement (the type of charger is old and hard to find). He immediately called around and not only did he find one that would work, but he also brought it directly to where we were eating dinner. This is just one example of the terrific integrity and quality that this tour provides. I can't imagine visiting India another other way, and plan to return again for another adventure with the Indian Maharaja Tour! 10/10

Myself and nine other ladies from New Zealand went on a three week trip with Harsh and Arti, the owners of this wonderful company. They are both professional photographers So there was no chance of any of us, taking a bad photo. We were always directed to the best angle for the best shot. Even though we had our own tour leader from New Zealand Harsh took over. In the Van every day we were always welcomed with biscuits, Kit Kats, water and even cough drops in case someone got a cough. Even if we came across hawkers Harsh was here to take charge, he made sure we got the right price and the product was not faulty. Our accommodation, our food, the tours he organised in each town/city were so we got the best out of the district. Harsh and Arti work hard behind-the-scenes to make sure everything runs smoothly even when flights get cancelled they are up late at night to make sure we do not miss out the next day. I am not good at packing light and our domestic flights had a minimum baggage allowance, but Harsh and Arti we’re always on hand to make sure all my luggage got through, as not knowing the language and having The know how my luggage would still be in Delhi.
So no matter what you want to see in India, or take away from the country, they will always make an itinerary that will suit your needs.
I highly recommend India Maharaja Tour company. They are both easy to get hold of on WhatsApp also.
Have fun on your next trip to India, with Harsh and Arti.

When my sister asked me to go to India on a whim, I thought there was no way we could pull it off. She found Harsh and Indian Maharaja Tours and we were basically set for an amazing experience in Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, and Jaipur.
We flew into Deli and were picked up by our driver for the week (Gurmeet- fluent in India's 3rd most common language- Horn honking). We slept off a little jet lag at the La Meridien and met up with our Delhi guide, Mr. Dilip. He shepherded us through some of Delhi's most amazing sites filing us in on the history and showing us how modern India functions.
After Delhi, we headed to the Trident in Agra. Highlights of this hotel were definitely the included breakfast (we ate dosa every morning and I have no regrets) and the laundry service. I felt the laundry service was overpriced, but they did an amazing job and my clothes have never been treated so well.
We were fortunate enough to have a great guide in Agra. Mr. Ajmal was able to rearrange our tour of the Taj Mahal due to intense fog, took amazing photos for us and not only guided us through the history of the town, but navigated lines like we were VIP diplomats.
After Agra we headed to Ranthambore National Park and searched for Tigers. No tigers spotted, but it was still a great experience and would probably go again (many people come back again and again). The hotel here wasn't quite as nice as the others, but was still great and I would still stay there again (but I wouldn't waste time at the spa, I would hang out in the bar and talk to the bar tender again).
Next up was our last city Jaipur. We stayed at another Trident property which was almost as nice as the Trident in Agra (just a little dated and I could smell smoke in my room from other, not so compliant guests). I mentioned the smell to an employee and they immediately sprayed the hallway with a lovely scent, so I can't complain too much.
Our guide in Jaipur was Mr. Ranvijay, who much like Mr. Ajmal was able to usher us through the best sites the city had to offer. He also set us up with a bonus excursion to his home where his wife taught us and prepared for us a traditional Indian Dinner. This was one of my favorite experiences, his family was lovely and shared photos and delicious Indian food with us.
TLDR: This is the Golden Triangle tour you're looking for. All details were managed by the company, we basically just had to show up at the right time. We went with the 5 star package and it was worth it.

I'm a pro photographer who hired Indian Maharaja Tours as my fixer for a custom private tour around Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, and I was SO delighted with them! I worked with Arti to plan the trip, and she coordinated every single detail and accompanied me throughout the tour. She had incredible communication from start to finish, extreme attention to detail, a deep knowledge of every location we visited and where/how I could get the best shots, and a knack and persistence for finding a way to get things done that others wouldn't be able to. Not only did everything run so smoothly because of her and she went above and beyond to ensure my job was a success, I also learned so much about India, the food, and culture - and had a blast doing it. Bonus: I feel like I walked away with a friend for life!
I would highly recommend India Maharaja Tours to anyone looking to experience the magic, beauty, and history of India, and would have been absolutely lost without Arti! Thanks for a once in a lifetime experience.

Harsh and his lovely wife literally MADE our trip to India. Seriously, we could not have had the amazing trip we did without them. Every single one of their recommendations were spot on. Harsh’s countless tips when we were planning our route were invaluable and their advice on each site we visited was so incredibly helpful. There were so many things we wanted to do that required an Indian credit card to book (which we don’t have) and Harsh and his wife took care of arranging our tickets for every single one of them. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful they were and they proved themselves trustworthy with every single transaction. They were never pushy but were always available to help when we needed it. Their communication was excellent before the trip, during the trip, and after. THANK YOU BOTH, we appreciate all you did for us! You are running a top notch business, keep it up! We will recommend you without hesitation to anyone we know traveling to India or Sri Lanka.

We contacted Harsh for our TaJ photography tour two months before the trip & he provided & guided us with the best hotel to stay in and planned our Taj photography tour very well, picking up from Delhi airport, staying in Agra and dropping back in Delhi. He was very humble and had clear communication during the time would be visiting the places for the sunrise and sunset to shoot Taj. He took us to the best place in Agra for breakfast/lunch, and dinner. He knows the best locations in Agra to shoot both sunrises/sunsets with Taj. He has a lot of local contacts, which helps to make our shoot smoothly without any hurdles.
Harsh is a very humble and down-to-earth and has a great
photography skills. I would recommend Harsh to contact for any Taj Agra photography tours
Thank you so much, Harsh, for your guidance and all the suggestions for our photography tour.

My partner and I had booked a 2-week photography tour of Ladakh with Indian Maharaja Tours for July.
After contacting 3 or 4 agencies, it was quickly clear that we would book with Indian Maharaja Tours as the communication with Harsh was fast, competent, personable and professional from the first contact onwards.
As it turned out, this was the best decision! Harsh picked us up from Delhi airport, from where we flew together to Leh the next morning, to be met at the airport by our experienced and helpful driver who was then with us the whole time.
We had 2 incredible weeks: perfectly organized, good accommodation, good food and above all incredible photography opportunities (if there were none, they were created)! We had a 'magic moment' every day. Harsh is not only the best guide we could wish for, as he is very knowledgeable about the region with all its diversity, knowing exactly when and where the sun rises and sets, when and where to see the Milky Way, but he himself is a passionate and talented photographer, Lightroom expert and not shy to share his experience and tips and tricks. On top of that, Harsh also has a very good connection to the local population, which certainly opened one or the other door for us.
An incredible experience in a very special and beautiful part of the world with the best guide we could have wished for.
We can highly recommended Indian Maharaja Tours with Harsh!

Thanks so much Harsh, our driver Shivraj and our wonderful city guides for such a great trip! We explored Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Mandawa through the pre-set itinerary and had a fantastic trip. We travelled during busy season but prices were still very reasonable (cheaper than a big group tour and much more personalised) and our hotels were absolutely lovely. This is a small company and you definitely get the personal touches you miss out on with a big company. It would occasionally take a bit of time to get responses to my emails, but as I was emailing during busy period this is completely expected, and everything was perfectly organised so Harsh made sure we had absolutely nothing to worry about! Everything was made so simple for us so we could just sit back and relax. Would absolutely recommend booking your India trip through them.
