- Omer L5 contributionsarts and craftRamesh showed us how these beautiful marvel objects are made und told us about the history and the craft of this art (inspired by the walls of Taj Mahal). We saw a lot of beautiful pieces in a good enlighten showroom. Very nice service and introductory. You can engrave your massage in the marvel and ship it all around the world.Visited September 2023Traveled with friendsWritten September 13, 2023
- Explore5067844814811 contributionsAn experience that literally lasts foreverI came here as part of a tour and I couldn't be more grateful. Mr Khan showed me how they manufacture and work with the marble and also let me try. After that he showed me all the products they manufacture and I bought 2 cute elephants that will be shipped. Things are really inexpensive, taking into account the labour put into them and the fact that they literally last as long as the Taj Mahal itself. It's a really wonderful experience that I would really recommend everyone, even if you decide to not buy anything. But again, they have things for as less as 20€ and they will last foreverVisited September 2023Traveled soloWritten September 19, 2023

Ramesh is very gracious and helpful and told us a lot about the process of marble crafting and it was very informative. There are reasonable prices for the famous Agra marble. Highly recommend this place.Visited May 2024Traveled with friendsWritten May 18, 2024

It was an amazing shop with beautiful artwork on display. They had the descendent of the workers of the Taj Mahal. - Matt Butler44 contributionsBeautiful hand made marble piecesMr Ramesh was a really warm character and great host. He allowed us time to consider our options, made us some chai tea and even gave us a recommendation of the best restaurant in Agra. We haven’t got our purchase yet as we sent it home with DHL, but within due course he gave us a tracking number and worked out the import taxes for us! Great experience with a quality product.Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 29, 2024

The initial craftsmen demonstration didn't look authentic and was done in the hallway of the shop while the salesman with his ostentatious gold looking watch giving his pitch.
The seller was really pushy, pressuring me into buying something. I finnally agree to buy an object, we agree on a price and when paying by card another higher price was announced. I had to insist on paying the initial price. The seller acted very rude after paying for the goods. He didn't even show me the way out. I was the only customer and it's the worst shopping experience I had in my life. I felt really uncomfortable and pressured.
I don't recommend to visit that shop. Please avoid at all cost. I was brought there by an auto driver during a day trip because I learned later that the drivers would get a commision on every things bought by his passengers in the shops

First of all, it is the place where the so-called cab drivers bring people to see the handicrafts. The owner (or maybe just a salesman) has a good gift of persuasion and knows how to push a product. Works well with objections. A very good psychologist. I'm not sure how authentic the merchandise is as they give it away. I would avoid this store as well as other stores with overpriced and also low quality "national goods".

We saw a beautiful marble elephant in the store. Unfortunately, it was to big for our house. The owner suggested he could have a smaller elephant made for us that looked the same, with the same pattern and colour. I was very hesitant, because I don’t like to spend a lot of money on something without seeing the finished product first. Also, I was worried about the delivery. Usually I prefer to bring souvenirs home in my hand luggage, to make sure they don’t get damaged in the post. The owner managed to convince us the elephant would look the same and he would take great care packaging it. I am happy we trusted him, because our package just arrived and the elephant looks great! Indeed it’s the same pattern and colour (as far as possible, taking into consideration it’s a hand made product). The packaging was very secure, with protective foam inside. Communication with the shop was very good. They send us updates on WhatsApp. When the elephant was ready, I received a picture and shipment information. I am happy with our purchase!

At first you are introduced into small hallway where you can see craftsmen working, and you get the explanation and history of this craft. The shop it self is way larger and has a lot of unique products. The sellers are honest and arent pushy at all. Quality of the products is really amazing and the work is very precise. Not only that but they can also send you breakable items directly to your home, which is very convinient and also reliable, as all the items we ordered were completly intact when they arived. We can 100% recomend this shop.

Ramesh Chandra provided a beautiful tour of the Shivnath & Company workshop and showroom. They walked me through the process of making the marble, crystal, mosaic pieces and shared the history of this art. Ramesh was a wonderful host with a plethora of knowledge. Wonderful business and workmanship.

Amazing experience, hand made pieces made from the same stones as the historic Taj Mahal. These are unbelievably impressive and include bespoke dining tables inlayed with precious stones from all around the globe. Mr Khan made us feel at home with chai as we perused the variety of hand crafted items he had to show us.

Greetings from marble handicrafts agra. I would like to request all TripAdvisor customers and others too when ever you make a purchase please take the details of the company you visited. it always helps every one to make a right review. most of the time I. have noticed that people even don't take the crad and details of the company and go to TripAdvisor look for marble handicrafts and make a wrong review marble handicrafts agra is the title of my company and the company name is SHIVNATH & COMPANY. my address is 18/ 160A /1A Fathehabad road opposite kailash cinema agra. please don't write a review unless you are sure which company you visited. in this case the defaulter company gets nothing but we must suffer. with regards - Ramesh
