Support the local Handicraft here. Come ask for Nadeem and his loyal assistant Rahul who will give you a demo of the pachikari (inlay) works. Mr.Ramesh Chandra will give you a good deal on the items for sale but be sure to drive a hard bargain with him. Overall its a wonderful experience to learn about and get a tactile and visual flavour of the local crafts. Definitely worth a visit.

It was great to be able to see the process and technique of how the marble and stones were carved and with a very informative talk about it. Beautiful artwork in the shop to purchase with delivery. Excellent and very happy with my marble elephant! Great experince!

I had the most wonderful experience with Sir Nadeem Khan at the Marble Handicrafts in Agra. A place you have to visit when visiting Agra. It’s cultural heritage at its peak. Really amazing to see how all these products are made! Mr Nadeem Khan is very patient who loves to help you to fulfill your wishes and needs.

Taken here by a tour guide (not by choice) after visiting the famed Agra sites and extremely pressured to purchase something. The demonstration of how they make the inlay work is pretty bogus (supposedly all by handcraftsmanship) and the pricing is ridiculously inflated. Don't fall for it.

Stopped here after visiting the Taj Mahal and wasn’t disappointed.
Lots of amazing hand made items to view (and if it take your fancy, purchase).

Khan was very knowledgable and a great host for the house or so I was there.
Would recommend to anyone, even if just for a visit.

예쁜 대리석 수공예품. 타지마할 추억이 일부를 간직할 수 있는 좋은 기회 입니다. 선물용으로도 좋구요 사장오빠 무지 친절합니다. Good chance to take a piece of Taj Mahal memory with you and excellent for gifts too. Authenthic beautiful marble products. The owner Ramesh is very friendly and smiley.

Ok, our driver took us around Agra and then wanted to take us to a shop... this shop.

The stuff in there is not handmade there despite there being a child out front “making the marble” the products on sale are highly inflated.

I bought exactly the same product from a shop in Delhi for 1/10 of the price.

There are other marble shops, don’t believe their sales patter and if your “driver” is taking you there is cause he gets commission from any sales.

If you want good marble go to hue in vietnam and to the area marble mountain. Now that’s cheap and it’s excellent and genuinely handmade!

Everything in this shop is overpriced and factory made. They "employ" child labour and an old man to make it seem like they create their marble pieces but in fact everything you see in that shop you can buy elsewhere in Agra or Delhi for the 10th of the price. Wanted INR2500 for a elephant but you can buy similar, made from the exact same material and with the same pattern for INR200 in another shop in Agra and in Delhi.

We were taken here by a tuk tuk driver who will get a commission if you buy something.

If you want to buy over priced marble then go ahead and shop here but actually the pieces are nothing special.

BUY ELSEWHERE.

Hi i am sad to write my experience at marble shop . On my trip to Agra me and my friend (she is from USA ) we book a tuktuk from train station for visiting tajmahal . After tajmahal the auto guy shared with us to show us process of how tajmahal is made and we were brought to this store by our tuktuk driver .

People here very kind and showing us all about tajmahal but when I saw outside these people were paying money to tuktuk guy so I was surprised and didn't make any purchase but my friend bought a small Taj Mahal for 1100 as memory and later when we visited Fatehpur Sikri we saw same Taj Mahal for just 200 rupees . Now I understand that money was paid to tuk tuk guy was a commission on my friend purchase . Not good and lucky I didn't buy anything but still it's sad as my friend have bad experience of Agra .

Be careful from this place and don't be fool by tuktuk guys .

After being taken reluctantly to this shop, and not being able to leave without buying something, which I did, I returned home to Melbourne and unwrapping my plate and found that it was chipped. This is after the demonstration of marble piece being thrown across the room and supposedly being unbreakable. I contacted the store and was told to get it fixed here, it was my fault. In the wrapping of same there was not indication of the broken pieces. I believe that I was originally "sold" a broken plate. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS SHOP!!!!
