There are two identical and symmetrical red sandstone buildings either side of the glistening white Taj Mahal. This one is a Mosque and I believe that the other offers some type of accommodation. Photography is banned inside.
Quite an eerie hush when you enter the inside of the Taj. A one way system is operated, which is a necessity. You are not allowed to take photographs and on this the guards are very strict although I did see one young girl take...More
Two identical building flank each side of Taj Mahal. Built of red standstone they are huge and fine pieces of architecture. On Fridays, holy days, used as a working Mosque. The Taj is closed on a Friday because of this. Splendid building.
