A must see for all to enjoy. You will need booties (shoe covers) to go inside as they are trying to protect the marbel wear. Some just go bearfoot whole others just bring or buy them on site. Beware of theives and watch your purses...More

I have ben told there is to be some work done at the Taj Mahal and that this may affect the visit I am currently researching for early 2018. Could anyone please advise if this is correct??

the right tower has current scaffolding for maintenance. maybe all the towers will be finished by next year.

I am travelling tomorrow to Kanpur for an official work.. i am reaching Lucknow by flight by 10.10am. my work appointment is on Monday 9.00am and my hotel stay is in Kanpur... With this time gap, cam anyone suggest me the fastest route for me to reach taj mahal and come back to Kanpur... thanks in advance... alsowhat is the timings in taj mahal tomorrow..

I would suggest that the most efficient way for you would be to hire a local car and driver. Speak to the concierge at your hotel and he/she should be able to book a reliable driver for you - ideally, one who has language... More
