For our trip to Rajasthan we had a requirement for driver and guide services. We had designed our own itinerary and booked accommodation directly. We contacted a few India-based travel agents and selected India Someday because of their understanding of our needs, customer focus, responsiveness and pricing, as well as their reputation from reading reviews. We dealt with Sameer through this process, who was very patient with us as we amended our itinerary and provided excellent advice to ensure we had the best experience.

We were assigned Ratan as our driver for 9 days - and he was the face of India Someday on our tour. He is a true professional - flexible and attentive, providing advice and guidance when needed. On a couple of occasions, we decided we wanted a guide for a specific attraction, and he would contact ‘the office’ to arrange a suitable guide. The guides themselves were all excellent, including Krishna who joined us as guide for a 2 day tour of Jaipur.

Throughout, you felt this was an organisation focused on ensuring we had a great experience. We had regular contact through the tour from Aaliya via WhatsApp to inform and update us to ensure we were comfortable with the arrangements of each stage of our tour.

So, whether you are looking for an India-based agent to deliver a complete itinerary or just components like driver and guide as we did, I would wholeheartedly recommend India Someday.

We have just finished our 20 day private trip organised with India Someday. We are experienced travellers, but they were recommended to us and we felt it was worthwhile to get some help to organise our trip as we were travelling with our 3 teenage children. From our first phone call with Abbas we immediately felt comfortable with his knowledge and the process. After several discussions and changes, our itinerary was confirmed and transport, hotels and some activities booked according to our budget and timing. We travelled to Delhi, Varanasi, Agra and through Rajastan with trains, private car and an internal flight. Our driver, Ratan was amazing and went above and beyond. We always felt in safe hands and he even took us to his home in a village for lunch. We would highly recommend India Someday for travelling India regardless of your travel experience or budget. Everything was so well organised and we had communication throughout the trip to keep us updated on the next steps. Thanks Abbas, Ratan and team!

When i started planning my trip to India, I quickly knew that I had no clue what I was doing. I came across India Someday when I was doing some research. I had never heard of their company before and I was honestly nervous sending them money and flying across the world. Well, I had no reason to worry.

They treated us like family and we had a wonderful trip. Sunil created a perfect itinerary for myself, husband and two teenage children. We visited Delhi, Varanasi, Agra, Ranthambore National Park, Jaipur and Goa. We traveled smoothy by planes, trains and automobile. We had one driver, Om, a few times. He was a lovely man that treated us beautifully. He went out of his way to help us with anything we needed.

I would 100% use India Someday again for any travel needs. They made our incredible trip possible. India Someday created an amazing itinerary that would engage teenagers and allow for downtime when needed. The company felt almost grassroots in style. They knew trustworthy and responsible people throughout India and allowed us to feel relaxed and comfortable everywhere. We also found India Someday to be very affordable. Sunil was able to find us incredible accommodations and excursions (printing class, tours, food, a safari, swimming) for our budget. We even had a chance to meet up with Sunil when we visited Sheroes Hangout in Agra. Thank you so much Sunil, Aaliyah and Om for sharing your beautiful country with my family and I.

Traveling around India was a fantastic experience, the culture, scenery, and experiences we had were once in a lifetime! However, I'd be wary of booking with India Someday on larger group trips. We did a two week trip around Northern India with a group of 17 and there were some major issues. The trip itself was poorly organized and we missed out on many of the promised activities due to bad time management. Our guide admitted to us that people at the company knew it was going to have issues due to the group size and yet they did nothing to change the plan and never took accountability for it. We missed the Diwali celebration (the main reason we all booked the trip) and were blamed for choosing to stop at a museum even though none of us knew the schedule or how behind we were. I asked on multiple occasions for a written itinerary and plan for our days and never received anything. Several times we were kept from buying water and going to pharmacies when we needed to and the overall worry about not knowing what was going on took away from the amazing experience of being in India.

Hi Emmeline, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We’re really glad you enjoyed India’s culture and scenery, but we’re genuinely sorry for the frustrations you faced during the trip. While we did include all the planned activities and tried to make up for the missed Diwali celebration with a small celebration of our own, we completely understand how the communication and the way things were scheduled made your experience less than ideal. We really regret that things didn’t go as we had hoped. Your feedback about group size, time management, and clearer itineraries is super helpful, and we’re already working to make improvements. We truly appreciate your honesty and are sorry we didn’t meet your expectations this time We do hope to see you again in India Someday! Warm regards, Jesal and the India Someday Team

I am so grateful for India Someday's services. At the start of the year I was ready to make my dream of going to India come true and several months later (perfect november weather) I was able to go! My itinerary was expertly curated to match the type of places I would enjoy staying at (a mix of homestay and luxury) and a main activity at each major location in my journey. I had so much fun learning how to cook south Indian food with other travellers, learning about the history of Kerala on a personal tour, learning about the tea plantations and the people behind them with a personal tour guide, and a nice peaceful shikara boat ride seeing the life on the backwaters. There was one hotel mix up BUT the team was able to work with me and another hotel I was interested in to make a seamless transition for me. The team was easy to communicate through whatsapp if I needed any help or connections with drivers. I am so thrilled they assigned Stephen to be my driver for 5 consecutive days. Stephen recommended/coordinated even more fun activities and places to eat and we had a blast. Activities included roadside coconuts, sunrise jeep tour in the hills of Munnar and waterfalls, meeting an elephant, seeing monkeys, spice plantation tour, balloon ride, lots of local good eats including the famous Chef Pillai (a recc from the tea plantation tour guide), ziplining, theatre. He was a great person to get to know and share some fun adventures and long drives with! I thoroughly enjoyed the mix of relaxation and activities and meeting travellers along the way. I highly recommend their services to everyone interested in going to India...someday.

Very, very, very good. As a solo traveler (from Italy) asked for help for hostels and complicated transfers in a lot of different cities and they produced a custom itinerary, online, extremely detailed in terms of places, transfers, and costs.
Also, I loved nearly all their choices, and they had to adapt to my tight budget.
Also, I needed some last minute changes (sorry Viveka ♥️) and they helped me as fast as humanly possible.
Also, all of this was quite cheap.
If some friends will need travel services in India, I will recommend India Someday without hesitation.

IndiaSomeday organised us the perfect tailored Sri Lankan experience with a great mix of quirky and luxury accommodation. They also arranged our guide/driver Janaka. He was attentive, responsive but unobtrusive.

He gave great advice, made good recommendations but stepped back and listened when we weren’t interested if comfortable.

Janaka arranged a wonderful informed authoritative guide at Anuradhapura but let us self guide at Polonnaruwa appropriately, organising bikes and meeting places but keeping out of our way. He recommended the right park for the weather/ wet conditions for our NationalPark wildlife viewing and a great guide who was sensitive to the wildlife. Amazing up close experiences with wild elephants.
We can really recommend the Abode run accomodation at Ahangama beach. A truely luxe end to our trip. All very reasonably priced. Amazing food throughout from home in the wall of wee family run village Rice Curry to perfect beachside cocktails. What an experience. Culture, history, genuine people and so much history.

This is the second time I’ve used India Someday, and I have to say, they are absolutely sensational! From start to finish, the team ensures every detail is taken care of, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Their expertise and local knowledge really shine through, and it's clear they are dedicated to creating unforgettable trips tailored to your preferences.

The accommodations they arranged for us were beyond charming, each offering a unique and spectacular stay. From boutique hotels full of character to serene, scenic retreats, every place was carefully chosen to immerse us in the local culture and provide a truly memorable experience. We loved the blend of comfort and authenticity that each hotel offered.

India Someday also arranged private, well-informed experiences that were incredibly special. Whether it was exploring hidden gems, enjoying cultural tours, or experiencing breathtaking moments in nature, every aspect of the trip was thoughtfully curated. These experiences went far beyond the typical tourist attractions and helped us connect more deeply with the country.

We’ve created memories that will last a lifetime, and I cannot recommend India Someday more! Their ability to take the stress out of planning while delivering such a high level of service is truly remarkable. We can’t wait to plan our next adventure with them!

We did a 16 day tour of Rajasthan. The planning in advance of the trip was very professional, we received great suggestions and were able to bring in our own ideas at any time, which were then implemented immediately and very transparently. Thank you very much again for this, dear Kathrin.

We were always accompanied on our journey. If there were any transfers or coordination needs, Aaliya informed us at an early stage. Everything, really everything, worked great and reliably. We never had to worry about it and could concentrate fully on the experience.

The selection of lodges and hotels corresponded exactly to our ideas and requirements. The idea of flying domestically to save time was as useful as it was sensible. That also worked great.

The cooking class with a family was very personal and we became part of this family for a few hours. A great experience.

The corresponding guides were always on site, as planned. And here too we didn't have to worry about coordination. This was always the interaction between our driver, who was available to us for 13 days, IndiaSomeday and the respective guide.

We can wholeheartedly recommend the IndiaSomeday team.

If we decide to go to India again, we will definitely plan our trip with IndiaSomeday.

PS: How nice that we were able to meet Kathrin in Jaipur, that was a very special experience and a great joy for us.

The 31-day trip to India is now almost over and I would like to express my high praise to the team at Indian Someday. After landing in Delhi, Indian Someday planned many stops for me in Rajasthan, a trip to Goa and back to Mumbai. Not everything always went smoothly. But that is not what you can expect from a country like India. I was always given exemplary help when there were disagreements and these were always resolved to my complete satisfaction and quickly by the India Someday team.

There was only one thing that they couldn't really help me with and that was the train journey from Amritsar to Haridwar. Here we had to change our plans to the uncomfortable bus, even though the train ticket had been booked over 2 months in advance, there was an overcrowding and I had to decide whether to share my bed with someone or take the bus. But the point is: this is India and not the travel agency's fault. And without India Someday I would never have been able to change my plans so quickly. (A little tip: book and arrange everything in advance. I definitely recommend 3-4 months)
The selection of accommodations was great, and if you give feedback on what you didn't like so much or what you particularly liked, this knowledge will certainly help subsequent travelers. So don't be afraid to use WhatsApp and stay in touch with the incredibly nice people.
You also get lots of tips by email about what to do in the respective cities. So here too, the Lonely Planet can safely stay at home.

With that in mind, 6/5 stars 👌👍
