The area is a steep slope downhill with numerous pine trees. Scenic area for photos and selfies. At the end of the slope is a beautiful lake with an amazing view. It was a slippery climb down and a very tedious climb back up. Recommended for youngsters and photo junkies... entry fee was rs 5 per person and camera fee... More

The word sums it all. No wonder it has been host to numerous movie shoots. Amazing landscape besides the lake and pine tree cover. Calm and serene. A must visit location!

If you are visiting Ooty then you can not afford to miss this point. But make sure that you are high on your energy level, have light meal only as you need to climb up, upon climbing half you will get good view, take snaps with your loved ones, this is a very peaceful place and blessed by scenic beauty.... Very good scenic beauty. Needs some physical fitness to visit there. Good to click some pics and imagine film shootings.

There are multiple such points on the way to pykara lake. 9 Mile is the most scenic one. But too crowded. Nature lovers can enjoy more if you go little further and then climb the hill from other side.

Must visit for movie buffs. Some of the popular bollywood movies have been shot here. The moment you enter the place, you will find yourself recalling movies shot here.

Must see the sunset here. Great hillock. Gives you Switzerland feeling. Plan it by 5.30 pm to see the sunset.
