Sim's Park is the most popular tourist destination in Coonoor and we had visited the same during our sightseeing in Coonoor. Entrance tickets are priced at 30 rupees per person and separate charges are there for camera. During our visit fruit festival was going on and there were butterflies built out of different fruits on display. We saw different varieties of mangoes, bananas, grapes and many other local fruits from Nilgiri region. We walked around the pathway enjoying the flower beds showcasing wide variety of flowers in all possible colors. There is a fish pond in the middle with boating facilities.

This is a wonderfully laid out and landscaped park housing several botanical species and home to several birds and butterflies. Definitely, a must-visit place in Coonoor. There is a fairly large lake in the centre and visitors can carry out activities such as boating on it.

The deepest valley inside Sims park is the coolest place with fog n greenery. Evening 4 to 6pm is most beautiful time when fog decends. Must stop there without hurry. Better have warm clothes on for kids.

Visited just after the lockdown was lifted and the park was thrown open to Public. Thermal Screening was done and the park had ample social distancing markings. It is a relatively smaller park as compared to the Ooty Botanical Garden but lesser crowded as well. It's more than 100 year's old . Has a small boating enclosure as well. The park is spread across in slopes so there would be a lot of steps to climb up/down.

Sim's park is the last place to see and we reached there around 2 PM. The entry ticket is Rs.30 per person and Rs.50 per camera. The park is quite big and one can spend couple of hours here. Attractions are massively big trees of different varieties and steep green lawns.

It's a renowned park and must visit park in Conoor. You can see a chart of trees mentioning some are planted around 100 years back. There is boating inside park as well. Three face lion emblem can be seen on entrance.

The park is nice for a walk and mostly for the Indians there is some water entertainment. The park is not flat, you have to go up and down. There was a worldmap of plants. If you walk for an hour you can see the whole park, but if you feel tired there are places to rest.

Has it all - lots of flowers, a lake for boating and enough gazebos to relax and unwind. The best part is its compactness - all of it is within easy walk. It is also home to the rare Rudraksh Tree - walk to your right as you enter Sim's Park to find it.

Like most other parts of Coonoor, plastic is banned and so are the 500 ml and 1 l water bottles. You could carry a Milton (or similar) water bottle and make use of the water ATM inside the park. I loved this idea to keep the park and the city beautiful.

Sims park is popular tourist destination in Coonoor. Garden is nicely shaped on sloppy hill. Different variety of flora and trees are abundant at this place. If you have sufficient time during your trip to coonoor, then you should visit this place. Little pond is there at the end of sloppy garden.
