He is the first person to design a coal fired bus for transport of people and put to use. This bus is kept in the Exhibition. All his inventions are displayed there. He is the first to bring in HAM RADIO to coimbatore.

Has some very rare collections like Marconi's original wooden gramophone records, etc. Some exhibits are very rare like Apple computers of the first and second generation. A must see for school children and first time visitors to Coimbatore.

A must visit science museum established by the great Genius G.D.Naidu foundation. We astonished to see few of his inventions and creative findings in his period of times. It is well exhibited and explained by the museum crew.

The exhibition is in a hall.....quite a small place considering the quantity and extent of exhibits displayed there. The items truly elicit curiosity and interest, be it the early communication systems, the early television, the first computers, as also the pictures and right up on G D Naidu. However the overall feel is one of a dingy room stuffed with old items without proper lighting. The entire exhibition hall requires a massive makeover. They could start with the lighting (currently the lights come on as you reach a shelf...but not instantly which sort of confuses the audience). Then the walls could be brightly painted, the roof, flooring, everything needs to be changed. There must be voice overs at each shelf storing such priceless items. A great opportunity for the trust to liven up the exhibition and encourage more and more people to visit and gain knowledge. Yes they should also charge a nominal fee (right now it is free)

This is a free, open to all museum located in Coimbatore. All artefacts are carefully preserved . One can see the history of how diodes have now become transistors. How the old gramophone record has now become a CD and then a chip. Electrical, mechanical and electronic gadgetry- how they have evolved. I went with my children and they were "wowed" - what is thi , is this the way calculators used to be.. they beamed.

The place was very dusty. It can definitely be cleaner. The toilet is located outside the building and the less said, about it the better.

Barring these things, it is a nice place to visit - for engineers at heard and for kids who are engineers at heart, always!

Those who love scientific games and experiments will love this place. There are few games for kids, too. A must visit if you have 1-2 hours at hands.
A bit difficult to locate, they need to put a bigger board.
