One of the older temples in this region. Reputedly built by the Cholas, it has many exquisite sculptures and murals that you only get to see in the Cauvery delta region. A must visit for anyone travelling to this part of the country

Good old temple, which is in perur on the outskirts of coimbatore. I went to this place enroute to dhyanalingam. After visiting this place and dhynalingam, I feel this is a better place for devotion than the later.

Due to friends compulsion we went. Lot of crowd. A police compelled to go near karpagraham. Surprised. My prayers fulfilled. Returned blessed. The temple surrounded with good waves.

This is a very good temple to visit in coimbatore. It is around 30 km from coimbatore airport/city but very good and pleasant.
