Dam location wise is good. Very good fresh Dam fishes will be available. We cannot climb atop dam wall due to safety reason. But still can sit and take rest near canal which can be fulfilling. Kids play area is well maintained, so they can be kept busy. Good weekend getaway place for Family..........

A good educational trip for kids and a relaxing visit for adults. The fresh air and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Many times you feel the TTDC could do a better job with maintaining it is the feeling you get here. Definitely worth a visit you will not be disappointed.

This dam when filled with water is most wonderful to look at. The park is maintained well. Can get fresh and cheap dam fish dishes outside the dam. Mostly this place is not much crowded and is a good picnic spot.

The dam is across the river Bhavani. It is very well maintained as this is the main source of water for agriculture and drinking water for few Kongu regions. There is a walk path on top of the dam and need some guts to walk on it. Park is quite good. At the shops outside the entrance, taste delicious fresh... More

The dam is amazing if you go during rainy seasons or after rainy seasons when the dam is full. The dam also has a park that is quite nice, but could have been maintained properly. The fish around the area is very tasty.
