Must visit Museum if you go Udaipur
Museum is a must visit place. It plays videos about Maharana Pratap and his life. Apart from that there is robotic play of major events in Maharana Pratap's life. Although the route to Museum from Udaipur is not very smooth but it is a must visit place. In between you will actually see the Haldi ghati, place where war happened

Exemplary Work by Dr Mohan Shrimali
We visited the Museum, while travelling back from Kumbalgarh Fort (after enjoying Light and Sound Show) the previous night. Since we had seen Chittorgarh Fort earlier, the trip to the Museum was much more enjoyable. Amazing work by Dr Mohan Shrimali, who donated land, funds and time to construct the museum with society assistance. Very close to Nathdwara Temple, it is worth visiting by all proud Indians, who love our glorious past and great sacrifices by our ancestors

    Maharana Pratap Museum, Udaipur
The Maharana Pratap Museum is a treasure trove dedicated to the legendary Rajput warrior king. Nestled near the Haldighati battlefield near Nathdwara, the museum itself isn't architecturally grand, but what it lacks in frills, it makes up for in content. Inside, you'll find weapons, armour, and paintings that bring the story of Maharana Pratap's fight against the Mughal rule to life. Interactive exhibits and a light & sound show make learning about this historical period engaging, even for kids.

Maharana Pratap museum is located near haldi ghati in Udaipur. It is around 45 minutes drive from the city. The museum is divided into three parts. First part being the actual belongings of the Maharana. Second, is a small animation movie which narrates the actual story of the battle of haldighati. Third part, comprises of stories in the form of depictions / statues were a guide narrates incidents of the life of Maharana Pratap to the visitors. There is a common guide for all, and the entire visit is well managed. It is a must visit place.

Maharana Pratap Museum is a private museum located at Haldighati, there is a nominal entry fee. Visited the museum in the morning time. Post entry, a guided tour is provided, first the visitors are taken in a group to a small theater to show a short film on the history of Mewar and Maharana Pratap. After that the visitors are guided to walk through the fixed pathways for an audio tour with certain artifacts at the side of pathways depicting interesting history of Mewar and Maharana Pratap. The tour is interesting, especially for the Kids, but may be improved further. At the exit point, the museum depicts rural life along with shops selling sugarcane juice, local products, canteen etc. The entire tour may take around an hour. Overall, a visit to the Museum along with Haldighati visit may be made.

I have taken an interest in Maharana Pratap Sing and his battle at Hildigati. Facing the Moghuls he nearly won and in escaping his wonderful horse Chetak, although badly wounded by a spear, carried him 6 kilometres including jumping across a deep river and ravine, died after saving his master. A statue to Chetak and his grave are near the Museum. The bigger than life figures are very impressive, the 3D movie and the focus on the armour and twin sabres carried by Maharana Pratap make for interesting viewing. The trials and tribulations of this great man are well documented and his place in the history of India is affirmed by this museum, and rightly so.

This museum is dedicated to Maharana Pratap and is located in Haldighati very near to Chetak Samadhi. The place is very well maintained and the short film and the light and sound show is very nice. Visit this place if you want to know about the life of Maharana Pratap and the Battle of Haldighati.

Historical museum, nicely kept. It's imagined, created and built and run by a historian and gives us glimpse of thr grand king Maharana Pratap's valour, values and his life. There are 3D shows telling us stories and entire experience is nothing less than what you see in Europe kind of place. It's at a short visit from udaipur..must go, it's just a half day trip and a memorable one.

Small but good collection of artifacts. Beautifullly depicted history both by audio visual and structural.
A bit overcharged but considering that it's individual effort. It's worth.
Don't go with expectations of great collection but for a brief but good view at part of history. Convenient as it's in way to Haldi ghati

It's an underdog but definitely wins over many of the other highly rated sights in Udaipur (Sajjangarh, Aquarium). The guided tour felt almost like a time travel. There are enough and more spots where you can click pictures and treasure the memories. But important thing to note is that it takes a minimum of 2 hrs so plan accordingly. Also, if you have been to Haldighati already then most of the story telling will feel repetitive. I hadn't been to Haldighati and hence thoroughly enjoyed it.
