We did an art class at Ashoka art and it was amazing. Honestly one of the highlights of my trip to India. Hitesh, the teacher was great and I am really happy with what we created. It also makes you really appreciate how incredible the detailed art is. We also bought a few painting at the shop that they framer for us and I love them so much. Can't wait to put them up at home. The best experience we’ve had so far in India. The team were great fun and incredibly skilled, and helped us come away with some excellent small paintings (despite my lack of artistic talent). I would recommend this to anyone visiting Udaipur.

We had such a fun afternoon learning about the local craft of miniature painting. My husband and I both picked 2 different designs and we were both patiently taught step by step how to recreate the artwork in the style but all by our self. It was a great activity to do together, even if you don’t normally do artwork or think it’s something you’d enjoy. I’d recommend giving it a try and this is the best place to do it for sure.
