A must place visit for an amazing experience
Feb 2021 • Couples
Once the show starts you will get lost in it. Wasn't expecting a folk dance to be that great. Really admire and respect the hardwork of each artist. The way they are still holding up and taking forward the rich culture of Rajasthan is commendable. You won't feel like taking up your phone to record it but would rather prefer to capture it in your eyes forever.A must visit place if your on a trip to Udaipur.

Must Experience It
Jan 2021
It should be definitely on your "Things to do" list if you are in Udaipur. The show they put on is amazing with different traditional dances, puppet shows, etc. It was so good that you wish the show has not ended. At some point, you may find yourself sitting on the edge of the seat to see their performance.

I would say that the ticket for this one hour show is really cheap given what you experience there.

The show begins exactly at 7 PM in Bagore Ki Haveli and they start to sell tickets after 6:15 PM at the entrance. If you don't want to miss anything then it is advised to be on time.

One of the most underrated tourist attractions. The dancers and puppet artists present the show with grace and such precision that leaves the audience mesmerized and in complete awe of the rich cultural heritage that our country holds. Keep up the great work!!

Great show

Dharohar Folk Dance Show in Bagore ki haveli is a must watch show if you are visiting Udaipur. I felt enriched as the performances were breathtaking and it is very convenient way to know a little about the richness of Rajasthan's culture. The ticket price is also very very nominal. Only thing to be kept in mind is to have tickets purchased before hand as per your itinerary else you may have to face disappointment due to unavailability of tickets the very same day.

Excellent entertainment !!
Jan 2020
Very colourful fast moving show including whirling dervish style dancing, puppetry, balancing of about 10 beautifully painted clay pots on her head, dancing on broken glass on a tray although the glass looked smooth from where I was sitting. A fire dance by three dancers !

All very enjoyable !! The show lasted approximately an hour and only cost R150 plus the same for a camera if you took pictures, That is only around £3 !! I noticed at the end of the show we had to show the tickets that we purchased for the camera or else some people had to pay on the way out. Great ethnic music and dance, don't miss it !!

My Udaipur Trip
Feb 2020 • Couples
This show is a treat to eyes. The dancers are so graceful and energized. Singers, all the artists are amazing. Two things I would give minus points for:
The anchor started with Hindi English in beginning.Good.But only for introduction part. Later, the language was English Hindi. That didn't seem good and respectful to our national language.
The other thing was last dance Bhavai dance. It was performed beautifully by a graceful lady. The thing that didn't seem good is she danced on broken glass pieces. In such an entertaining show, painful act shouldn't be there.
But go, visit and enjoy this show!

Experiencing Rajasthani Culture !
Aug 2019
This is a must visit show when in Udaipur. Rajasthan's rich culture is portrayed in the form of folk dance, skit, puppet shows and live music. A wonderful experience for everyone. Make sure you reach early and stand in queue for the tickets, there is no fixed seating and is on first come first serve basis, but they manage or rather squeeze and accommodate everyone who comes in for the show. It's just a make shift area that servers as a stage and for folks to sit down and enjoy the show.

Dharodhar folk dance
Dec 2019 • Family
An excellent folk dance programme to get a glimpse of the various folk dances from different parts of Rajasthan. Well organised and conducted. Starts at 7pm every evening. It's a one hour show. Betterto book the tickets online in advance orelse you might get disappointed as the queue for tickets sometimes is very long. Puppetshow is awesome. Try to be there by 615pm as seats as based on first come first served basis.

Great show!
Dec 2019
Make sure you queue early, because this show fills up quickly, and rightly so. You would not expect much from the modest stage setting, and informal seating, but the talented dancers showcases some fine Rajasthani dancing, and incredible skills. It is definitely a must-see, and something different and memorable. Make sure to buy pay the extra for taking photos and videos, as you will want to record everything (and helps support the local artists).
