Ropeway ride is a decent one. The best time to visit is in the evening when the sun is settling and the city lights up. The view is awesome at around 7 pm as you can see almost the whole city lit up.

If you're religious then go for the temple and even if you're not, still go for the amazing view of the whole city from the top of that mountain. Go by ropeway or by walking, both ways you can have fun. It's just that if you like trekking then must opt walking and if you just wanted to enjoy the... More

There is a small ropeway to Karni mata temple. One has to wait for almost an hour for their turn for ropeway. The view from the top is good. One can see the whole lake from the Temple.

Rope way is of 4 minutes ride and you will be thrilled while riding. After reaching over hill you can visit a temple of Ambe mata which is good. Rope way chart is nominal and affortable which is 50 INR per person.

We took a ropeway to reach this magnificant temple. Mansapurni - means wish fulfiling. Karni Mata temple is reverred and frequented by locals as well as tourists with great belief. People believe that Mata fulfils wishes of all who come to have darshan of her.

The view from above at night is just something one has to experience once in a lifetime... It just keeps you there , the cool breeze and the well lit birds eye view of all of udaipur.. Rope way isn't expensive ..caution the stairs down are dangerous at nights with panther sightings ...last cable car returns by 8:30pm..

The only good thing is the view. Go there for clicking awesome pictures, nothing much to see. Karni mata mandir is a replica of original one and is very small, there is a dargah behind it.
