Kids will enjoy the cable car ride(rope way) to the Karni Matha temple located on top of the hill. It is a short five minutes ride to the top of the hill and offers a panoramic view of Udaipur city. There was no wait time at 11AM when we visited the temple. The cable car ticket counter is located just... More

If you have already visited Monsoon palace than no need to visit for great views of the city. You can visit if you want to worship or if you have not visited Monsoon Palace.

There is a long wait to get the rope way ride to the Karni Mata Temple. We waited for around one and a half hours for our turn. But the experience of a rope way ride is just awesome. We get to see the jungle below and we are like gliding past the jungle towards the temple. Karni Maa temple... More

Nice place to click some lovely photographs for entire Udaipur city. Would recommend to go to this place just before sunset so that one can enjoy the city view before and post sunset along with lovely sight of sunset.

This is a location no one should miss while visiting Udaipur. It is equally beautiful for those of you who want to visit temple and / or the ones who want to get a smashing and stunning panoramic view of Udaipur city, Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, Lake Palace Hotel and entire surroundings. The hill has both, stairs to climb... More

So this was the only thing I found to be avoidable. The cable ride is around 2-3 mins. The temple is undergoing restoration. The view is good. However you can even climb to the top. There are stairs built for the same. The place i would recommend for sunset viewing and just chilling in general would be Doodh Talai which... More

This rope way was built in 2006 for the devotees of Karnimata, whose temple is built on this hill top. Still steps are well maintained for the believers to climb the hill. In fact, we wanted to see the aerial view of the Udaipur city and used the rope car to take us to the hilltop. It is a wonderful... More
