This is near doodh talai. The rope way is of short distance, still it is worth trying for the great view it offers.

This place is near to Doodh talai and walking distance from City palace. Couple normal ticket will cost you around 200 bucks with ropeway ride of around 3-4 minutes. On hill top there is Karni Mata temple and some shops to get ourself shoot in Rajasthani attire.Temple construction is still In progress though.

Packed with happy people, fun experience and amazing views especially as the sun is setting, we would have loved to walk down but have bad knees so took car both ways. Couple stalls at the top but no hassle

Going up Karni Mata by ropeway may have been one of the highlights of my trip to Udaipur. Hardly any guidebook mentions this hill, but it has the best views of the city - and very little non-Indian tourists. Return tickets are less than 100 rupies and waiting time was less than 5 minutes. Other travellers recommended going for sunset.... More

The ropeway leads to a temple and some fort ruins. The temple premises were partially under construction when we visited(oct 2016). A few white mice have been kept in cages. The goddess of the temple is said to fulfill all wishes of her devotees and is deeply revered by the people of Rajasthan. The ropeway ride costs about 100 rs... More

The ropeway trip to Karni Mata temple and back is great fun. We walked to the ropeway and caught the cable car to the top after visiting the City Palace. It’s a very nice walk and you can try many different delicious Indian snacks sold by vendors along the way. People we chatted to told us that it was also... More

The ropeway ride to the temple is great, lovely view of the lake city. The temple is being renovated in a modern way and looks quite hideous. But the view from top is to die for. there is a good restaurant too there so one can spend couple of hours there.

It's a pretty simple temple. The views are great from here. You can take the walkway which is long or use the gondola. With kids, we took the gondola. I suggest that you take the walk.
