This ropeway to the Mandir, gives excellent views of the city. The kids would also love doing the ropeway. The views from the mandir are excellent and the breeze good.

The rope-way is a must do attraction in the Udaipur. The rope-way ride safe and comfortable both ways. On top there is a Mata mandir. The view of the city from the city is spectacular. You can see the whole city from here including city palace, taj lake palace, oberoi udaivilas, jag mandir, etc.

The ropeway trip to Karni Mata temple and back is great fun! We walked to the ropeway from the City Palace complex and caught the cable car to the top. It’s a very nice walk and you can try many different delicious Indian snacks sold by vendors along the way. People we chatted to told us that it was also... More

You will get some very good view of the entire city along with Lake Pichola. There is 2 option to reach Karni Mata mandir, one is via Ropeway and another is walking (but this is a time consuming also not suggestable for old age people. Moreover, the way is from the jungle). I will suggest going via ropeway. They have... More

Once at the top we admired the scenery and visited the temple. It was one of the highlights of our trip to... More

Temple is really at too much height, and have total religious feel. Ropeway and maintainence is good. There are white rats kept there. Good view from top.

This ropeway was built between Deen Dayal Park on the top of hill near Lake Pichola and Machhala Hill Top near Karni Mata temple. Its amazing experience of seating in the gondola and amazing view of udaipur monuments and lakes.
