The Memorial was dedicated in 1971 and was the first major Vietnam memorial in the United States. In 1987 Congress recognized the site as a memorial of national significance. Our visitor center features educational exhibits. The grounds are a peaceful and beautiful backdrop for the Chapel.

This was a beautiful Chapel and surrounding grounds and Museum dedicated to the Vietnam Veterans. Since I lost friends who died and Mt husband lost friends who died in the War, it was emotional, but good to pray and remember!

Beautiful memorial off the beaten path. The visitor center was closed when we visited, but the chapel was open. It's a hidden, quiet little place for reflection. I wish the visitor center had been open so that we could learn more about this wonderful place...More

We stopped at the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial on our way around the Enchanted Circle. On a cold, sunny February day, with snow on the ground, the memorial was stark and inspiring. Unfortunately, we were there the day of the week (Monday?) the chapel and the...More

Incredible moving memorial. It's very different from the wall but every bit its equal. It's worth a detour off the Interstate.

Dr. Westphall and his wife Jeannie honored their fallen son David, with a Memorial for all. If you EVER need to find peace for a soldier who has died for his/her country, the Angel Fire Vietnam Memorial would be it!
