Really enjoyed this cooking class. We were asked what we wanted to cook and felt very welcomed into the family home (the class takes place in the family kitchen). The class is hands-on and we were given a little notebook to jot down the recipes. At the end we were able to enjoy our very tasty food in the rooftop restaurant (which has great views of the fort). At 800 rupees each we felt it was a little overpriced as it's more of a "cook with the family" kind of experience as opposed to a professional cooking class, but we shopped around and all other places were charging the same or more so this seems to be the going rate.

This was by far our highlight of the town! Such a welcoming house with such amazing food. This was better food than the restaurants that have been voted best on this site. First time i ate a curry that wasnt something ive seen in the UK!

This Cooking class is actually the right thing to do when you come to jodhpur,the class given by Savita was excellent , the food was diverse and tasty.don't eat anything before going to the class because what you will cook u can eat.

by far not the best cooking course we've done. was very rushed and she gave the impression we were waisting her time and stopping her from watching tv. didnt explain much about the dishes or spices. just stood and watched. not a hands on cooking course. try the spice paradise one just down the road. the lady who runs it is so much more professional and really explains everything about the food, spices, orgins of the dish, etc. stay this course was a huge waist of money

I work very hard to offer the best cooking lesson,but i don't understand why u didn't like ,i understand in life we can not make all guest happy but what you written I was watching TV that is not true,because we don't have TV in our kitchen ,ask any guest if we have TV in our kitchen,because you never want to my place may be you want another place or my competitor and my competitor put negative thing in your mind about my cooking class,

I got recommendation for jodhpur cooking classes from a couple who meet us in udaipur, savita joshi who teach this cooking classes at juna MAHAL home stay is great cook we learn how to cook misaligned chay, veg pakora, dal makhani, palak paneer, jodhpuri puloa. Great food

One of the best cooking class done in jodhpur. We tryed ladyfinger, chapti , rice pudding, brinjal curry etc. It was great experince over there

Cooking class inside a 450 year old immaculate Haveli and kitchen. Super clean with perfect fresh ingredients. The owner shares her 30 years experience of cooking for guests within her Haveli. We were able to learn how to make traditional masala chai, eggplant Sabji, Mung Dhal, rice, sweets and more! To top it off we were instructed to enjoy the meal upstairs at their private rooftop restaurant. Class was in English for us and all instructions were practical and clearly understood. We had one person in our group who was allergic to chilli and this was no problem with a turmeric / coriander gravy instead. 100 % great price, location, extended experience. Must do when in the Old Blue City and book to stay in the Haveli.

We have just had a cooking class with Savita at the Juna Mahal and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment- especially when we sat down to eat our delicious supper. Sativa is an excellent teacher and it was so good to learn how people eat at home and get a full picture of the ingredients used. We were particularly intrigued by what goes into Masala chai! A highly recommended experience.

Went for this class in Jodhpur. It was a great class with lots of tasty food to eat at the end. A must for anyone interested in cooking.
