Very poorly maintained. In horrible condition. It is a pity that government is not maintaining this location. Please do not waste your time.

The lake is very beautiful and surrounded by the hills. You can enjoy boating and sunset here. I was visited this place in April last, as weather is slightly hot at that time so there are not too much Indian tourists. The lake is quite far from the city, as we already booked the taxi for 3 days we didn't... More

I'll start by saying I'm from Canada so these types of lakes aren't all that impressive if you're from a country that has a lot of lakes and water. I'd skip it if you're like me in that respect but I know other people from around India do quite like it so it depends on where you're from I think.

It was quite near to our hotel, Hptel Bijolai Lake palace, a serene place to spend tranquil moments.

Do visit this lake in the evening time as afternoon , Jodhpur is hot. In evening, tourists come to enjoy the weather by the lake and enjoy the natural beauty of lake surrounded by hills. Street side snack vendors are also there near the lake. There is a zoo at the walking distance from this lake. Good experience.

Kaylana Lake is one of the important lakes of Jodhpur, municipal water is supplied from this reservoir. The view from the lake is truly Serene! Don't expect a lot in terms of water sports & all. You can sit, relax & enjoy the sunset here do try some local snacks (bhel puri etc). The drive to this place is fun,... More

This lake supplies drinking water to the Jodhpur city. A good picnic point nearby the city. Not properly maintained by authority.

Kaylana lake is an artificial lake and get the water through Elephant Canal and this is connect to Indira canal. Good place for boating and spending some time in evening. Now the place is very dirty and needs maintenance.

It is not a place worth visiting, especially only for the sake of tourism. The water in the lake is filled with garbage and filth, at least near the banks. No effort is put in to clean it. Very little attention is given to beautifying the place, and hence it becomes a point for merry drinkers and dwellers. The best... More
