Zenana Mahal was the palace of the queens. According to a belief, this palace was built in order to safeguard women. To keep men away, it was guarded by eunuchs day and night. The rock carvings and sandstones enhance the beauty of the palace.

Zenana Mahal is situated in the Mandor Gardens. The palace was built by Rthods. Mandor was earlier known by the name of Mandavy pur. The area covered by the Zenana mahal is not very big, but over all it's worth seeing .Adjoining to the Mahal, there is a museum wherein a picture gallery demonstrating different Ragas of Music can be seen.

Small set of ruins inside the mandore gardens. Completely avoidable as one can't go inside the buildings anyways

Very sad like most venues run by the government. Lazy and indolent employees. Pools and venue filthy and trash everywhere. Could be a wonderful tourist venue with proper management.

This is a part of the Mehran Garh fort complex and is bundled with the tour of the fort. The ladies' palace has stunning jharokhas and a large courtyard.

Another building listed separately but this is actually within the grounds of Mehrangarh Fort and you will therefore see it as part of your visit to the Fort. Beautifully carved stonework where the royal females spent their time. Rajasthani architecture takes your breath away. Atmospheric.
