It is a private property and not accessible for tourist unless one staying there. We are not aware of the fact and went there to visit, but from the gate..we send back.
At least a visit to the Lake may be granted to tourists..perhaps with tickets..we feel deprived to view one good attraction...!!!!!

We booked this hotel thinking it is in countryside and peaceful, but it was not. The hotel were preparing for wedding and all day they were constructing huge stage, approximately 100 people were working and creating lots of noise. Most of the common area in hotel was taken over by wedding planner and workers, totally ignoring the non wedding guests, I would not recommend anyone to book this hotel. When there is wedding in hotel they let wedding people work 3 days before and 3 days after wedding to clear mess undermining non wedding guests. This should be done at hotel cost and not at the cost of non wedding guests. Do not use swimming pool in this hotel, it is very very dirty

Excellent in every way: Location, rooms, restaurant, service, food, green surroundings. Such a unique and a perfect property one could ask for. Mr. Shahdev Mehra (Manager) attended us so well and made us visit every corner of the property which is worth seeing. Indeed a Royal place !

The property is excellent clean and perfect. We were really looking forward for our stay here. We arrived at hotel checked in and went ahead for lunch. The staff was extremely rude and non corporative. Unlike the standards of the hotel. The kids were not even served water in spite of asking them repeatedly. We were extremely disappointed during our stay due to extremely poor service. And inspite if the beautiful property we were not able to enjoy as we had anticipated.

After three weeks touring in India I wanted to call this hotel out as one of the best. We stayed in various 5* hotels and yet this hotel stood out amongst them. The grounds are stunning. Amazing lake, swimming pool, monkies etc Such a relaxing place with high levels of service. Great food sat outside with a real fire and very attentive staff. This was such a relaxing stay but sadly only one night. My wife didn’t want to leave. Make sure you build in some time to explore the hotel grounds. We will remember this palace as a highlight of our India tour

If Nature appeals to you, if peacocks dancing in the lush green lawns draw you like nothing else. Then Balsamand Lake and Garden is the place to be. Wow is one word which could truly define how magnificent these gardens are and how beautiful is the view of the Balsamand lake from the terrace area. It originally used to be a palace of the erstwhile King. There is something about the air here, it’s pure, it’s serene, it’s Royal. One of the must go places if you are visiting Jodhpur.

Yes there's one and delicious local cooked food! The Chef Singh is a master and a carving fruit artist! It's a magical dinner with candle soft lights and the charming scenery of the Maharadjah's place. Don't miss it!

Hi,
What all areas of this property can be visited if one is not staying at the Hotel? What is the best time of the day to visit if one is visiting in November 2017? Also, what time of the day should one visit? I am visiting with family ( 3 adults , 2 fit senior citizens)
Written October 29, 2017
Hi
You can visit the lake side during day only even if you are not staying there. There is a small abode on the banks of lake which though closed can be seen from outside and may be on the roof. The gardens and restaurant can also be visited during day time. You can have a look at the royal horses in the stable. The garden restaurant however offers dinner only during this time. In November you can visit around 4-5 pm so that if felt like then you can have early dinner as well. They have some amazing bar be que food to offer for both veg as well as non veg guests. Place is senior citizen friendly.

not sure sir about the exact details but they charge you quit heavily,i mean giving 3000,4000,5000 and above for a night stay is quit heavy for me because while i travel i choose to stay in budget hotel because i spend my whole day travelling around and i dont think it is advisable to spend you hard earned money just for sleeping. but yes one thing is sure they do charge you heavily because it is a heritage property.
