This is an ancient garden made in the time of old days. It has a zoo as well. Lord Shiva temple & Library are the other attraction one should also visit. There is some "Mela" on Sawan Somvars in this area.

This was not a tourist location. It was dirty and really more of a park than a garden. NOt worth your time. There is a beautiful garden in the city fort and much prettier gardens in other cities (like Udaipur).

Used to be a beautiful garden few year back but not very well maintained these days. There is a zoo also inside the garden.

I had many walks through this park, it is a calm and quite place. There are some grassy areas where children play cricket, where people rest on the grass, some defunct fountains, the Sadar Government museum and to the north east a quite beautiful tree lined avenue.

A nice place to escape the hustle and bustle of central Jodhpur.

Entrance from the north is by a tree lined avenue at the top of the High Court area, entrance from the south is from High Court road, at the intersection near the high court. The gates from the park directly on to High Court road seemed to be locked.

There are some history presented well but was not able to appreciate much since what is open to the public is a very small portion. To see the rest we have to spend atleast Rs.3000/-

After Visiting Umaid bhawan palace , the expectation were high from the garden , but once reached the place has now turned into a junkyard for the locals to throw their garbage bags and a home for stray dogs .
There is nothing to see and zero maintenance has distorted the histtoric importance of the place .

Nice park to just relax after all the walking around. Centrally located too. You may see some peacocks just walking around. It has the museum so that's worth visiting. Should be good once renovated.

I visited this place not for garden but for Sardar Government Museum, which is in the middle of this garden. Entry to Umed Garden is free but you need to pay for Sardar Government Museum. This park is average and you can spend some time here.

It’s a Historical place as it was built by the the then rulers of this more than 550 years old city of Jodhpur and Also named after Raja Umaid Singh ji!... Beutiful small patches of green set out between Buildings built out of Jodhpur sand stone and the most historical and Picturesque one being the Wonderful Sumer Library which itself is an Architectural marvel with Thousands of historical books along with other ones. The Head office of Archeology is also there and also A bird Museum.

Oh it is a beutifully designed historic Garden...spoiled by the Mismanagement of the District Administration. There were times when it had a healthy zoo area,Green grasses and a museum too.All are extinct...except for a beutiful Chaand baori which is really unique step water well.
